A message appearing briefly on the Assassin's Creed Facebook page lead NeoGAF users to a Flash file urging fans to "Spread the Word" to reveal an exclusive look at the next Assassin's Creed game, and lurking within the Flash file was this logo. What is Assassin's Creed: Revelations?

The Facebook message appeared for only a moment, but long enough for Kotaku reader Nicolas to have it captured in his feed program. "Assassins, the day you have been waiting for has arrived!!! Click the link below to help reveal an exclusive look at the upcoming Assassin's Creed game!"

The link accompanying the message delivered NeoGAF members to a Flash page where they could send a message via email, Twitter, or Facebook, along with an activity monitor to track the promotion's progress.

Further analysis discovered that the Arabic writing appearing in the flickering video atop the Flash page read "Altair Ibn La Ahd" backwards, or "Altair, Son of No One."

I was actually on Facebook when this got leaked.  The page popped up in my news feed, and it was pulled in less than a minute later.

My guess is it's a new Brotherhood-style game starring Altair.  It could be the Assassin's Creed title for the 3DS they teased when the system was announced.

Ubisoft finally lifts the curtain on Assassin's Creed Revelations, the third and final chapter in the Ezio trilogy, coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this November.

In Assassin's Creed Revelations Ezio Auditore embarks on a journey of self-discovery and revelation in the footsteps of his legendary mentor, Altaïr. He'll travel to Constantinople in the heart of the Ottoman Empire, where a gathering army of Templars is threatening to destabilize the region.

Assassin's Creed Revelations also sees the return of online multiplayer, with new mode, new maps, and new characters.

Son of a bitch.  Ezio's a great character and all, but I think it's time to move on.  I want to see an AC set in a new time period.

The reason they're doing Ezio again is 1) They want to take from this character as much juice (money) as possible; and 2) They need more time to think of how to continue AC without using Ezio.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is the next game in Ubisoft's stealth action series, and it'll be out later this year. It's also the third game where the player takes control of Ezio Auditore, meaning, yes, by now he's very old.

According to a feature in the latest issue of Game Informer, the former smooth-talking ladies man is around the age of 50 by the time he makes it to Constantinople. Now, reading this today, 50 isn't that old! But this game isn't taking place today. It's taking place over 500 years ago, and back then - even for a man as fit and well-connected as Ezio - 50 was old, with most adult men making it past childhood not expected to live much longer than their half-century.

Of course this rage doesn't quite make sense considering that we knew there would be 3 Ezio games the whole time.

The next game we're going to see about him is Ezio killing people while going in a wheelchair. I wouldn't be surprised. And the chair being the one shooting and throwing knifes from some hidden holes.

Anyway, I truly suck at Defense Tower games, so I hope it's not hard to win in those parts of the game.

Don't worry, Den Defense is easy as pie.
Morale is easy to get and you are most likely to get ahead before even having the least bit of trouble.

Because it is clear that Ezio is Chuck Norris.  :-X

I'm certain the difficulty will ramp up for sidequests. As far as the story goes you probably don't need to be that good at it, but completionists will probably be shedding salty tears.
