I don't think taking down one crap pop star is going to change the music scene. Especially the pop music scene, which is pretty brain dead to start off with.
pop music is not a bad style, just think in Michael Jackson , he is King of Pop the bad thing are stupid shit like justin gayber or bitchney spears, hanson, or in spanish-talk really awful like belanova, in rock -specially spanish -talk you can found crap like genitallica or panda, and the emo shit.kill JUSTIN GAYBER!!!
Selena Gomez said, September 09, 2010, 05:21:14 amjustin gayber or bitchney spears, hanson, genitallica1: your name and avatar are selena gomez. she is a fucking pop product much like the artists you make fun of2: those names arent as witty as you think they are
3: I doubt you can find to many more exceptions to the pop shit list. Micheal Jackson and the Beatles are the only people who come to mind.

i think they are technically thrown into classic but pretty much all of the pre-Revolver stuff, your "I wanna hold your hand" and "hard day's night"'s, i loop into 60's pop.

I didn't mind madonna, but I don't think I have the heart to say that she's anything more than just pop star.
I have no issue with pop music where the person singing can ACTUALLY sing. I do have issues when they can't sing at all and are just there cos they are in some way attractive. Remove autotune from the industry and they'll have to actually get real talent in.Autotune is only OK when it's used as an effect. Not when it's used throughout the song AND as an effect.
I'll be the first to say it's not exactly Autotune, but it's Autotune's "Cher Effect." Other than that, it won't give you the whole computery voice.
Most of them sing with SOMETHING enhancing thier voice. There is enough tech out there now to even fix it in concert between the person singing and what comes out the speakers. It's really pretty shit.
Yeah, it's called Autotune. is comes as a plugin or a standalone rig for concerts or non-studio emulation.
I'm not sure what the name of this song was by madonna, but it freaked me out on a very deep level. Here's a line from the core's."Give, yourself, to, me.""We'll never, be, apart.""I, will melt, you're heart."those three lines for some reason didn't sit well with me. ♥-♥ mAdLaX ♥-♥ said, September 09, 2010, 10:55:21 amNo Offense to those Justin Bieber fans... I really do not see a point in this. So your gonna dislike a music video of a pop star so it can proably get taken down because you don't like his music? What good will that do really? It's just a Video on Youtube. It's not like it's going to Kill Justin Bieber. He has a legion on fans beside him and they're never give him up.Beside, IT'S JUST A MUSIC VIDEO! If you really really really really really don't like it. Then just don't listen to it. Block Justin Bieber out of your mind. That what I did.
B. Marquis said, September 14, 2010, 04:08:44 pmYeah, it's called Autotune. is comes as a plugin or a standalone rig for concerts or non-studio emulation.I'm gonna let you in on a little secret...Auto-Tune is not what makes a vocal performance good. Of course it puts the singer in tune, but the singer has to have an existing quality to their vocals. No matter how in-tune a bad singer is, it'll still be utter useless shit under anyone's standards if the singer doesn't have a bankable quality to their singing. And another thing...a lot, if not most, (of what people might consider) good singers get Auto-Tuned too. Depending on the genre, producers will make sure every little thing is perfect, to the determent of the humanity of the recorded song. What people should really consider is vocal comping. That's where a singer will record the same vocal part multiple times, and the producer and engineer will go through each vocal track, word by word, selecting the best sounding ones to construct (or comp) one vocal track for the song. A lot people consider Bono as good singer, but he has to record his vocals 12 or more times to construct the perfect track. And even live recordings have overdubs, and re-recordings to make them sound good enough for public consumption. Anyway.........I say we should all go and auto-like Justin Bieber.Did you see him on the MTV Awards last month? That little shit tore it up on those drums. He's a talent.

the amount of spite you give any popular mainstream music act isn't going to be enough to resist the much more praise they get from fans. Find music you like better, since popular music tends to stay popular.
