About time I officially announced this.  Been in the works for a very long time.  Might be old news to some of you.

warusaki added a intro in his guile for my nash

old pic- groove points now behind

example of the palettes I want to use.

Got permission from Warusaki to use his coding, and N64/GCN Mario to exploit his character.
Using Warusaki's groove system.
I'd say about 90% done.  Just gotta fix some code (which I suck at).  I also want to sprite a new cvs style roll and cheesy KO animation.
I'd also like to make a shadow mode when I'm done with the main character.

Yeah- this WIP has been going on for probably like more than 3 years.  I'm lazy...
thanks to FeLo for the palettes.  They look very Udon style to me.  I hope I can alter his other palettes in a similar manner.

His moves are just his Street Fighter Alpha moves for now.  I'm not a huge fan of custom moves.  I may include his aerial flash kick in his Shadow mode and maybe even his EX groove since it was actually added to alpha.

anyone wanna help me make palettes?

What I really like is how FeLo mimicked Udon's color scheme turning this:

to this:

I'd love to see Charlie's other normal palettes converted in a similar way.
here's some reference:
http://www.zytor.com/~johannax/jigsaw/sf/nash.html

I also would like some more Shadow palettes like this:

(Lo Llop=FeLo. Felo is my real name, also my nick in other forums :P)

It's easy. I like to play a bit with Photoshop, turning reds into greens or other colors. If you need help with more palettes, let me help you :)
A small trick of imitating Udon's colors is making the "crash of colors" more intense: a very lighty 1 and the next is very dark, using a very big part of the body/arm/wearing. And in the middle, a middle color tone for giving the CvS style. That is th only trick. Or perhaps you can take a comic/picture, select the colors and look for the most cvs-esque. But I prefer playing with the cvs colors turning in others.
Compare this Rose with the Alpha/Zero Rose:

You'll see mine more in light with more contrast, and ALWAYS trying to play with shading. That's the only trick here.
Ah, the two ladies are my wip. Completing CvS Chun Li and editing Rose.

EDIT: Suggestion: Try to make a Shadow version with Start+button :P. You said you are not a friend of custom moves but in that case, it will needs.

Depends.  The character is actually almost done.  But now I'm considering custom intros, a Shadow mode, and thought of some good storyboard intros and endings.  Also considering a custom move (even though I said I don't like them) using Cannon Spike Cammy....maybe. So that might delay it if I don't release separately.

Cool! A few intros against Chun-li, Guile, Bison, Ken would make this truly unique. might take some time though. Shadow mode will be cool but I'm guessing a few effects such as glowing purple eyes and purple glows on his usual moves to make them bison-esque will probably be your aim huh?

I meant storyboard movies.  But I do want to give him more intros.  The real Nash doesn't have many.

Not sure what I'm doing with Shadow yet, got some ideas.

Usingthe comic pages to make storyboards is indeed a good idea, I like it. But you should make each square a separate image so you can both avoid color loss and make them fade in one at a time like in CFJ.
Use anything you want from my works.  If you need to contact me use email, not private messages.

Yeah, this has been an idea i've been toying with for a long time.  There's so many pages that can be used for the various characters too.

Been so busy, he's starting to gather dust!
I started a new job which has been taking up alot of my time, plus I have a child on the way.
Once the kid arrives, Nash may not see the light of day for a long time.  --;
He's got a few minor kinks I wanna work out before I release him.
Any seasoned programmers feel like dedicating a little time towards helping me out?  :P
hopefully reviving this topic will motivate me into working on him more

Right now, for each of his (JesusZilla's) Public chars, he has two different EX Groove systems.
The weird thing about that is, even though they are different, somehow that still seems appropriate.
*I don't know why the difference seems justified, but I guess it is because Zero is a Mech and Felicia is a 'muscle' controlled.*

The Grooves are Customizable, which IMO is better then Waru's.  I don't think you can fuck around with the EX groove in Warusaki's, but I could be wrong.

Really??
Do you mean 'Customizable' for someone who actually knows about mugen coding, or customizable for any general person??

In EX Groove at Default, with no changes/edits, JZ's Felicia is able to Chain her basic attacks moves. Zero, thus far is not.
I dunno, if this was intentional though, so if you or anyone, more informed than myself [my impatient self], could answer me on that difference, I would really appreciate it.  :sugoi:

At least chain combo anyway. Felicia has it by default so I never bothered to add it under the EX-Groove configuration. It's really a waste of a Var.
