I just checked it out, and from what I can tell, he's basically forbidding the use of the graphics. I could be wrong though, my Japanese is pretty bad. Although he says you can make AI patches to your heart's content.

Quick translation....

CvS Rolento was requested by a guy by the name of BD. Took a while, but Waru has made him. Some stuff about this Rolento:

1) He's a mobile character, for many of his moves evolve around mobility
2) Moves from SFA like his lynching super's in
3) Knives will not collide with/be destroyed by other characters' attacks

As for the other characters....

1) Fixing Combo resetting
2) Fixing the timing for Kara Cancelling
3) Fixing the timing for Super Cancelling for all characters so that you can do this (according to each character's gameplay, of course) during taunts, Super Combos/Moves, Guard Cancel attacks, etc....However, this doesn't include Super Throws if I'm not mistaken
4) Final Vega (M.Bison in the West) has gotten a slight power boost
5) Hibiki has a special intro vs Rolento
6) Various tweaks to specific characters
7) Bug fixes, etc.

On another note, seems like Waru's gonna omit AI from all his characters from the next update onward, since so many people are making AI and people are using them, making there to be no need to have a default AI (made by Waru) along with an AI patch by another AI maker.

Well, that's unfortunate. 
I really prefer it when AIs are made by the author of the character him/herself.  I'm not a fan of patches. 
I always had fun fighting Warusaki3's AI in particular. 

Oh well.  It's his choice, and I respect that. 


I'm not too big of a fan of Rolento, but the guy I fight against is, so he'll appreciate the character I'm sure.

definatelly good if not great news, i managet to get use to rei's version after few edits like removing a limitation point penalty from ex mode but waru's rollento is a keeper for sure

Yeah. Wish there was some way to fix that, but there really isn't since it's only possible to detect the edge of the stage and not the edge of the screen.

Also, KoopaKoot, the rips are in order, technically speaking... But that's exactly the problem. The order in the animation is different than the order in the spriteset. Your Zangief had this same problem when it was first released.

I had a new sig but I was quite bored so didnt change it at all...

the funny thing is that I was about to release that crap in a few days due to felo not having time to finish the ending (Hence still lacking the ending scenes) but now I'll have to GRAB ALL the DAMN files, change ALL of them, add ALL the extra coding and do the tweaks to adapt Rolento...

Interesting, an actual changelog I can finally understand :P, I think it's worthly the update. I wonder if he fixed his 2 biggest bugs: persistent AI and EX MODE vars on turns mode and reading of P3 and P4 on special intros...

EDIT: do I have to download someone else besides rolento?

Still I hope you will release it soon. You could use patch he put it at his mediafire page. I think it's just fine but I always re-download all files to be sure I get all updates.

My only gripe is that you can air block in P and K grooves ( same goes for all his chars.)

You can air-block in all of them. He said a while back that he did this to discourage the opponent from relying on shoryukens.

Correct, corrupted files.
Also, I can't seem to dl Chun-li. The connection times-out when I try to dl the file. Anybody else have that problem?

EDIT: Got her just fine today. Maybe it was a problem on my end.
