its because homo's have issue's in there heads. I still think gay dating should be out of the question. in the 40's, 50's an 60's everyone was close to the bible and believed that being gay was a sin (it still is). What changed all that? That would be drugs an crack from the late 60's.
Dan Savage is a depraved individual who has insisted on making war with God. Insisting on that actually leads a person to depravity. Depravity is a scary state of mind and soul. Depravity has made him into the very thing that he hates....a bully.
Sorry, Don, but the belief that "everyone deserves to be respected for who they are" may be what decent, God faring people live by but it is naive and even dangerous to believe that Communists, radical liberals, radical gays, radical athiests, etc. believe the same.
They don't just (and are NOT) "speak up" against those THEY hate and disagree with, they seek to SILENCE them and FORCE them to accept their distorted, twisted, and hate filled beliefs
I've always said and believed from much personal experience, that it is ironic how happy, flamboyant, and sweet Gay people seem when they want to be. And yet, underneath all that fake happy behavior is a roaring, angry, bitter, animal. I've seen this a number of times. I once told a man that was on the fringe of my life, that I didn't want to see his boyfriends pictures or hear about his newest lovers. He persisted to try and get me interested every time we saw each other. One time when I held up my hand and reminded him that I didn't want to know, he nearly attacked me. My husband had to stop me from being beat by this supposedly very happy person. I am absolutely against gay bashing. No one deserves to be beat to a pulp for being different. BUT, they are angry individuals and one can't help but wonder how often they really antagonize the people that are bashing them.
Waddaya expect? The gay genie is out of the bottle, and from now on (and some time into the past) the narcissists have declared open season on Christians (and rednecks) the last groups willing to stand against them.

Actually, Kyle, believe what you will but ultimately Christians are the only ones it will get better for. Everyone else is destined to stand judgment before a God who will on that day no longer be merciful and patient with those who have willfully rejected his grace, preferring to trample his laws and twist his truth into lies. No one who ultimately rejects God's greatest gift of love ever witnessed by man will end his/her life - happily ever after!
Sadly this is what has become of our country. Amazing that we didn't have these types of problems when we followed the bible more.
