My time is short, in a few more days I'll be pulled back into another semester of "learning", and as such I'll make the best if it...

I've recently played Fate/stay night and have greatly admired it, so much so that I'll be making quite a few stages based off of it's exquisite backgrounds.

Unfortunately I am unable to create them all in 1 sitting and as such I'll be creating them One-by-one and then post them here when I find time to do them.

First stage is the Emiya Dojo

Nothing fancy here, the original background was only around 800 pixels in width, seeing this I opted to lengthen it with the meager Photoshop skills I had.
If you look closer you will see quite a few flaws with this "shopping" as you people may call it especially on the floor, though hopefully this will not hinder people in their ability to do battle while on this stage.

2nd stage is the Kotomine Church

Like the one above the nothing fancy was made here, although I added a couple of snow because I thought it was quite fitting, due to the depressing nature of this stage..
Like the other stage, this one was edited, originally it was 800x600 pixels, I remedied that and made the background taller(800x800), using what little Photoshopping skills I had, I think this one turned out quite well though..

3rd Stage is the Einzbern Castle

Forgive me for creating yet another reiteration of this stage, but my nature could not be withheld for such a beautifully rendered image, I needed it to be turned into a stage, it's creation was more for myself than the community really.. But I did made changes to it though, the background was slightly photoshopped and as such the colors are much more defined. And that is basically what the main difference of my version to others.

4th Stage is the Fate: Ryuduu Temple - Final Battle

Lightened the background up by a small amount, I also removed the static representation of floating, glowing debris on the original image, and then turned them into snow-like downpour, finally I increased the height of the stage, the reason being that I have added a small visual addition at the top other than the sky...

So that's about it, for this week..

I think you mean "Chopping" as in cutting the sprites, and not "Shopping" as in buying useless shit just for lulz...and yeah, there's also some colorloss fairly visible on the lighter parts of the wall, due to gradients.

But at least it's nice you are making these...that's certainly a game I'll be looking into real soon.

I think you mean "Chopping" as in cutting the sprites, and not "Shopping" as in buying useless shit just for lulz...and yeah, there's also some colorloss fairly visible on the lighter parts of the wall, due to gradients.

But at least it's nice you are making these...that's certainly a game I'll be looking into real soon.

I used the term "shopping", derived from the word Photshopping, many people on the internet prefer to use the word shooping for some strange reason..

And I highly recommend you play this game, kept me up for many nights..

Unless someone specifically looked for it the photoshopping wouldn't be too noticeable in a good match

And I highly recommend you play this game, kept me up for many nights..
YES! but sadly I can never find the time to play through the Heaven's Feel route, I would also reccommend Tsukihime but when it comes to visuals and sounds it's not as appealing as FSN. I also highly reccomend reading Fate/Zero.

BTW wich stages are you planning to convert from FSN? I hope one of them if the Einzbern castle from the UBW route, the Ryoudouji Temple from the final battle from the Fate route would be nice too.

Anyway I'll try not to derail your release thread into a Fate discussion thread. :P

Well I am both still exhausted and depressed from playing the Fate route, but I do have Ryuudu Temple background with me though somebody else has already made a stage out of it...

Well yeah but he used the fugly RGB method and since it also has purple snow or whatever then everything turns white whenever I use an HSDM or whatever.

No, Fate/stay night is a 2d game, it is a visual novel, a game in which it is setup like a novel as such this game has a lot of words that needs to be read however you can have different endings depending on the choices you select.

Final Fate/stay night stage for the week

This time the stage is called Fate: Ryuduu Temple - Final Battle


The background is taken from the final battle scene in the Fate route of the game, hence the name...

Also I am quite aware of colour-loss of the stage near the top, I have tried my best, cutting it wouldn't make any noticeable difference aside from ballooning inappropriately the number of sprites to hundreds. For that I apologize..

It's best if I keep my thought's to myself even when no one cares, I just felt Maybe....

I will always be, primarily a creator who rips a background image from a game (preferable a visual novel) and turn them into a stage.

Though I do deviate from such a basic formula.

So it isnt just me hehe I was going to scroll back to the top to look at it again but didnt need to heheh.
Um I do like this stage but I wish the same ammount of effort was put into stage making that there was into characters.
Still image Hi Res stages converted via RGB or jigsaw can be cool stages but still I wish creators were ALL proactive in atleast adding some form of animation to them like a flickering candle or whatever.

For example, the egotist barriers stage from Arcana Hearts 2 by "azrel"
 (and I think Exshadow made this one too in lo res) is a flat
hi res stage rip like yours and not a bad looking stage either, but gets boring after about 30 seconds:
