thank momo for the topic :P

let me preface this by saying that according to iced's topic, there was a discussion with the rest of the staff on the additional demodding and i have no idea what happened there.

i also have no idea what happened with tony 3rd.

i do know in yesterdays thread, someone tried to bring up examples of tempest's postings, and it was said those were poor examples, so i thought the subject was dismissed (again, i'm no where near any loop though)

then whatever with the staff changes happens in that regard.

this is my new question, just generally speaking, may i please ask what exactly Iced meant by this...

Indeed. Staff are expected to set a decent example. We fuck up sometimes (we are human after all) but you should not be going out of your way to do it. Nobody has a right to be rude.

English has varying levels of intensity though. Mostly depends on whose vocabulary it is; what may be more intense to you may be less intense to someone else and vice-versa.



English is about the only language that uses swear words as intensifiers, isn't it?

You could say Chinese is sort of close, given it's tonal-based. Saying things in different tones can mean different things.

..Actually, it depends on alot of factors. Properly constructed swear words are used more by smart people often mixed with the subject at hand with proper explanation (sometimes sarcasm added in) while dumb people go FUCK BITCH YOU MOTHERFUCKER COCKSUCKER KICK YOUR ASS LOSER, etc.

Not really. The tone in English just suggests the intensity of a certain word. In Chinese, it's an entirely different word together. For example, the words for "Strawberry Juice" if said with the wrong tone means "To fuck your younger sister."

and if those even happens in the staff area then there is a problem.  Its possible to argue with someone,without making it personal, without having hatered towards one another.

and I also haven't been on in a bit of while, since I've been working on my character,LucasX3(Dark)(He's 95% ready for release.I'm finishing up the last of the stuff that needs to be tweaked and fixed up, I've also added new stuff.)
