thanks for the heads up its not a joke lol as for the char i find some of the sounds very unfitting with whats going on gameplay wise hes not bad. again im not a fan of the default super sound id like something different. my main complaint is sounds i guess you could say.the super that he takes them in the air and hits them down is awesome well done with that.
Solid release but I will respectfully offer some suggestion Speed up the eagle companion attach it takes to long for the eagle to come in and that moves will be very blockable almost 100% of the timeI would make the eagle have a different moves set which will make him come from different directions. Some specials are one hit which if If the second player blocks will leave you open for counters, maybe just adding a flurry of hits will get some hits connected and look more excitingI see a special that needs to be followed up with you own combo! this is a nice concept but it will also be nice to have more combo flurries.Thanks for releasing this character I was really looking forward to it!
He works on Winmugen. The spriting on Hawk is really nice. Very nice job on this.- Mace Uppercut should get better red CLSNs, that reach closer to the ground. It's a dragon punch move that should hitt more or less where the FX is. As it is now, it misses shorter chars.- Why doesn't it have a dragon punch motion ? Would make more sense.- Ancient Spear is only possible with SK.- Ancient Spear performed on a char other than Hawk gives a debug flood. You need to use changeanim2 or something, dunno.- Performing an attack after Ancient Spear does not count as a combo, even though it should.- On his walk forward anim, the back leg is too short. You can easily see it during the transition from stance to walk.- Punch throw lacks impact badly. There should be a hitsound, FX and envshake when P2 hits the ground.- Specials would really gain in having an envshake too.- No FX when super jumping ? Or at least an afterimage ?- Sky Assault final FX is cropped.- Why doesn't Hawk companion have different speed, angles and damage ? Would make it much more interesting.- Also, when performed in the air, Hawk gets vel X=0. Why not letting him continue to move normally, so he can perform Hawk companion in the air and follow up with an aerial basic or whatever ?- I can't manage to perform Electric Mace during Sky Assault. May be just me.- Claw Horus during Sky Assault could get a different anim or something to show it off more IMO.- Sky Assault only connects on opponents who are not in a gethit, since it's a throw, but I feel like Ancient Spear > Sky Assault should connect on a cornered opponent, otherwise it kinda looks stupid. Same for Ancient Spear > Hawkgod. Obviously, connecting these moves should dampen the damage a lot for the supers, otherwise it'd be super unbalanced.- He can jump over downed cornered opponents.

- im not fan of fly modes, there are other ways to represent flight, like air dashs, air jumps, and his specials moves.- amalgam is more related to DCvM project, out of project it dont sound like a good ideia for me.thanks again everyone.
There are other ways to represent flight but usually those things still co-exist with a flight mode to give the character more mobility

New feedback, ZVitor:- I can't execute the Ancient Spear with LK or MK. Only on SK.- Contact with WizzyWhipitWonderful to make a CPS2-style theme for Hawkman's stage.- I got a possible new special, the Mace Spin. In which he spins ala Zangief's Spinning Lariat but with his Mace.
I don't have much to say that others already have as far as bugs go. I personally do like the slow hawk helper option, because it helps give you cover for when you rush down the opponent, but maybe different speeds for strength of button pressed could be good?His lightning mace super d, f, kk, might be a bit TOO useful, seeing as though it can combo off of anything air or ground and even hit one the ground. Seeing as though you kept the damage to a fair level, I don't see a huge problem. I just seem to be abusing that move a lot because it seems to be useful in just about every situation other than full screen.Great sprites and a really fun character. Thank you!
@DKid, thanks, i cant belive i forgot mk and lk there.@ikari, nice feedback about ligthning mace.... i tink i can slow down his speed at begin of movement, so it can be less usefull to cover all screen, and will check damage again.and about hawk helper, i already added different vels to each button. looks really better now.
i will let you know when i upload a update.and will change version number at site to make it easy and to you not do unnecessary download.
