This Release is for regular Mugen not the MKProject.

I just finished MKSagat here are some screens.

i knew you were up to something.
anyways downloading now, feedback in a bit.
I wouldn't consider that a infinite since you have to make your opponent bounce of the wall and if you do it on the wrong side of the stage the stage interaction would activate.

his clsn are ok, but his ducking ones are to much, and when you walk they get missaligned, one frame has one only on his legs:


got a debug spam when i just started mugen, also has it when he wins a round.
When h throws an opponent, he turns the other way just for a quick second, add a !turn in the state.



^^ i don't even know how that happened, and his pallet looks really weird, its impossible to make other pallets off of it.

there probably more, but im to sleepy right now, congrats on your release!

Thanks I'm not worried about the missing 100 but I'll look into whats going to with 180.

Yeah your right something happened to the walking. I'll give it a clsn once over.

-Missing A Required animation i can't tell which one because my mugen says 100 o_O but when i do 1000 slaps on him he disappears, so should be somewhere around 5060's or 5030's

-on the coming down animation 5060 move the second sprite a little higher and make it loop by giving it negative one time as animelemtime..it looks funny with him repeating the same animation over and over again

-Funny Looking Hitboxes on the Tripped animation, sagat should be a little higher to match the hitboxes or the reverse of that.

-Fireballs have infinite priority it seems..i think you should add some clsn2 and a hitoverride state to it so it will cancel out fine.(haven't tested against another fireball though)

-Infinte priority and missing clsn2 on every single last attack sagat has. *But only missing clsn on some*

-No Hit, jumping and Landing sounds?(thats not needed though) :mad:

--More clsn right here: on many of his Air animations Sagats Clsn look completely out of place did you adjust the in the sff, after doing your air?

-Sprite prioity is not what i think you wanted it to be in the throw with the punch buttons

-Projectiles do 150 damage o_O, it think thats alot but i all depends on how you feel about that.(You could also use some transparency on them to make them look a bit more decent.the projectile also get its clsn too late so by the time it has them sagat can be hit bad situations up close with that

-I can't seem to pull of tiger uppercut by following the commands in the readme :o

-Can't seem to do punch fury by following the command in the readme

-Can' seem to do the fatality by following the commands you provided in the readme.

-The AI does 90% blocking the whole match


I think this character needs Much work, but it's pretty good seeing as how it's your first/second time trying But i think also that you definitely make this character more polished.

Shit I change the commands but I didn't change in the read-me.

Thanks for the feedback Looks like I still got a lot of little things to fix.

Fighter factory fucked up my .sff file so I had to rebuild that's why a few of the boxes are messed up easy fix on those though.

Yeah this one was tough but a good learning experience. Basically things messed up so many times that I had to rebuild everything and to do that I had to learn how everything worked.

The commands for Uppercut are F,D,B, x

Fatality is D, F, B, B, y (any distance) just like it says in the read-me.

Wow So now there are 2 versions of this sagat? The one that i have seems very similar to this one. Like the one that was put up on Freewebs.com/mugensaturn 2 or 3 months ago. Oh i just bet its a coincidence.

No prob.  BTW, sorry about what I said Sham. THE CHAR IS AWSOME AS FAR AS GAMEPLAY, BUT THE SPRITE RIPS LOOK FUNNY.  As for the Clns, don't listen! IOf they work, they can be on Sgat's ass for all you should care,lol.  If he works, he is a good char, nuff said!

Hey guy have you ever play SFTM. There the same because there was three kicks and two are used in the round house and another is used in the alt Round house leave week kick for both low and high kick. If you don't like it then make me some sprite edits.

I am working on my own shit.  Like I said, MK does'nt have the same kick.  One hhigh qucik which equals round house backwards and sweep is low kick backwards, you are the tard.  And I am not Requiem, if I was, I probably would have cussed you out and been banend by now.

I know hwo clns, work, but for some reason my char had clns around his butt and more and he worked properly on attacking, so please don't provoke me into getting banned.

You feedback is a little rude but I'll bite. As far as stiff goes I find him no more stiff than another MK Character. As far as the animations go they do need some improvement but the source game was limited on sprites that's one of the reasons SFTM Failed as a game.

So there will be improvements but I think some of your complaints are against MK and SFTM not me. So take it up with them.

Ok, about those Sprites.
Did you rip them from MAME or PSX?...cause even Jessica Smoke's characters from SFTM don't look that bad.

and I'm only being fairly rude because I'm really sick of people releasing Alphas & Betas...whatever you wanna call them, under RELEASES, when they're really WIPs and should be released for under the WIP thread for testing discussion before they're actually FINAL...else the release thread gets cram-spammed everyday with more ubber-CRAP  like some dude's MS PAINT "Stick-Land Stage" Bullshit or somebody Releasing their work along with an Apology because they didn't konw better the first time around.

I am not questioning your skill or saying that your character execution is crap (I do like your Batman), but if you yourself are a moderator you should start by making the forum a better place and releasing unfinished work where unfinished work should be looked at/tested and admired for what it is.

Here under RELEASES your creations will be submitted to community judgement as if they where a FINAL release.

Let this be a lesson to all who read this...I'm just being REAL.

I do however look forward to your improvements on SFTM_Sagat "MK Style"...it's good proof of concept.

You keep bringing up that you like my batman but keep in mind that most of the code for that character is P.O.T.S I just added to and took away. and the A.I is 100% his. Plus Batman is in a completely different style a style that fits into Mugen a lot better than MK.

In short MK characters are harder. You can doubt my skill because I am no expert, that's part of the reason for the release so I could get some feedback from people that know better than I.

On another note I don't care if you think it's ready or not or if you like it or not. The opinion that matters is my own  I like this character and will play with him as is. That's not saying that I won't make him better as I go. If you wanted to provide feedback on things you that you would like to see improved that's fine and I may or may not take your advise.

So I'm going to keep it real the character is ready because I say he is.
