I Don't Know What To Add To My Mugen Anymore.

Well title says it all.
I honestly have no idea what to add anymore, considering the fact that my mind is empty, and there is just so many choices to choose from Characters and Stages wise.

If anyone would just want to post their ideas on what you feel sounds good, and or any links that go along with it, would be appreciated. Friendly chat is also welcome. Thanks in advance for any and all responses.

EDIT* - I am willing to try almost Everything. No Cheap Characters, or dumb ones like Homer Simpson, Peter Griffin, etc.
Mostly I prefer Female Characters over Male Characters, but still, always wanting to try things.~

It would be nice to know what you already have in your mugen to begin with. I would suggest Warusaki3 characters for some CVS stuff. However if you don't really know what else to do with mugen then you may aswell just start creating stuff, I didn't enjoy mugen compilations anymore, that's why I started with my fullgame in the first place.

Add your favorite characters and stages in that you like using in original fighting games that you enjoy playing with ::)

For example, for mine, I would add Ryu, Ken and Gouki made by GM, Warusaki3 since Street Fighter 3 and Capcom vs SNK 2 are my favorite game and I use them a lots when I play these two games. Kyo and Iori by Vans and K' by Kod, my favorite King of Fighters Characters and so on. For stages, I would add Capcom vs SNK 2 Osaka Rooftop and those secret point stages from Street Fighter Alpha 3 as well as Australian Outback from Street Fighter Alpha 2 and so on

Ok what i recommend is that if you don't have any ideas for characters or stages, then don't add them. Just stick with your roster until you find something that you must have. Honestly I think you should avoid getting a lot of characters that you might only use a couple times and forget about. What i recommend is having a smaller roster of characters you do use and having a lifebar or SP with custom portraits (Custom portraits make everything look sexy :glasses2:)

I'm surprised nobody asked yet, but here we go. Do you have any preference in characters? At least something you want to see in one. That would help.

You can try and put themes into your character selection. Now I don't mean getting a screen pack. Just keep them in their own sections according to whatever (Final Fight, J-memes, Fist of the North Star, etc.).

Or you can put people together based on whatever and make people as something of a team (for example, I put Goeniko and Rugal on Vergil's side and unofficially call them the Genocide Cutters  :ninja:).

That's all I can suggest right now. It's up to you, anyhow.

Organizing a roster is a great idea, helps in choosing a desired character for a huge roster

Always add PotS characters. ALWAYS.
And if you have read or at least heard about Berserk manga, try Guts by OGGY.

He also have the Berserk form in one of his super moves. It look just like this:


An early warning before you download him, he is a cheap bastard and will overpower you in seconds thank to his HUGE sword range.

He doesn't have as much detail and definition as that sprite you've shown, but he is still a visually decent character. Actually goes well with Street Fighter Alpha/Zero characters, style-wise.

But I'd rather go with Akimoto's version of our rampaging knight here. He's not gonna give you much of a challenge like Vans' Iori WLS, but at least he won't unfairly slay your caboose over and over again.
Not to mention Akimoto's Guts is a bit more accurate in characteristics, and has better sound quality (the slashes in OGGY's .snd will kill your ears like a bitch).

One problem is his super moves unblock-able, but because he has a lenient AI, that won't get to you too quickly.

Try some characters from Seanalty or Kamekaze's 3 in 1 chars
