Why oh why would you start with DCvM Template when you clearly don't know how to make proper collisions, a proper small portrait, proper supers, proper commands, proper alignment, proper sprite cleaning, proper etc

You know what the sad part is? I could probably pull a better MvC character out of my ass despite not having played MvC or MvC2 in years or even touching MvC3 and it would still be halfway proper.

Thats assuming that the DCvM template is anything like MvC which, given where it came from, probably is high on acid.

It's awful. Even if it's incomplete, there are way too many things for me to say, that would probably make me do a huge list of problems. And siiiiiiiiir, if it's incomplete, and you don't want feedback, why releasing a link to download it? I can't just see the logic on that.

Hey man.... You are obviously in need of attention and respect. I mean need. Sort out those psychological problems in your personal life and I'm sure that you will get along better with everyone here.

Leave if you want to, but that really will not solve anything. People are still not going to respect you and this thread would be the last attention you would receive. So, not only do you not solve your psychological problems, but you also do not get your "fix" that they demand.

This would also mean that you will be forced to return here to get more of your attention and respect fix, even if the latter is as of now, unattainable.

In short, we don't believe you are leaving and we really do not care, more than we care about the next Mugen community drama on the horizon.

P.S. There are other forums that encourage what you are doing, but be warned; the attention whores and respect demanders have a tendency of eating their young.

When you started out, nobody thought anything bad of you.  They thought you made some dumb characters, but their feedback was not meant to be personal, it was merely for the character.  Then YOU chose to get upset and take it personally, YOU chose to start slinging insults.  From there your reputation was ruined because of YOU.

Take it from someone who knows it.  YOUR actions are what make or break your reputation.  If you get mad, YOU have to choose if it's worth it to let your anger out on the forum and pitch a baby fit, or to swallow your pride and try to redeem yourself.   Some of us are still trying to redeem ourselves for our mistakes, it's certainly not too late for you.  Instead of calling it quits and leaving with an angry fit, why not try and turn it around, learn and improve?

İ agree with you my friend. As a creator, let your Character get blamed for a full fix but, make a wall to protect yourself when you get attacked. Of course, our actions are the main reasons for what we are.

If you dont want to use a forum, just leave it, nobody forces you to stay.

Getting feedback you dont like its nothing we are going to protect you from, that doesnt happen anywhere. People giving you feedback are trying to help you improve, if you choose to take it as a bad thing, thats up to ya.

Asking people not to give you feedback is asking them not to care about your creations, which makes it hard to even share them.

I'm sick of seeing it. Yes, he's a kid. He doesn't know what he's doing yet(He's inexperienced, young, and just starting out). I know, let's insult him until he leaves. A majority of the posts were insults.

And look, he wants to close his account because the "feedback" he was getting was people telling him he's a spoiled brat who isn't worth shit. And what does he get? More insults about being a baby.

And like HELL anyone was trying to help him improve with their "feedback". No wonder he didn't want feedback on that stick figure character.

I'm so disappointed in how this went through, and this obviously isn't the only time this happened just based on how much I've been ranting about it, and I've only done it on a case to case basis too. Do you guys really like picking on kids that much?

I agree with your post, in fact, this has been a time coming, there should be more intervention on those threads, while we cant exactly parse everything and force everyone to be "nice" for fear of neutering actual feedback, we cant let people be so downright aggressive with it, accusing him of being a baby, claiming to love to bash , etc...

Caddie, you are now global moderator with a more specific focus on projects. Other mods will still try to deal with it, but I want you to take a bit every now and then to check out those.

Next time Caddie, when you put examples, make sure to also add the context of those examples. Not blaming, but some of those examples had valid feedback explaining the reasons of that comment. Sure, it's still bad, and I realise that I overdid it too. But it's different a comment with only the person saying that without explaining why than a comment with a lot of feedback explaining it.

You did not "try to be nice about it at first" so don't even try to bullshit us with that.  Your VERY FIRST POST on the matter was "I can't wait to see what all is wrong with this character."

Furthermore you can't compare a guy showing up and getting no feedback and all flames to Alexlexus who has been getting great feedback put to him for about 6-7 years and just ignores it.

I don't know how this happen. It's odd. In the past, I was a mediocre creator and sometimes people said me I was "cool", I had "nice characters". I just remember a few people telling me I wasn't good and I need to imporve, but never saying soemthing "Oh I'm waiting to see how they will bash you". That's not how feedback works. There is a big diference between giving feedback and being a fucking asshole.

I just remember a few people telling me I wasn't good and I need to imporve, but never saying soemthing "Oh I'm waiting to see how they will bash you". That's not how feedback works. There is a big diference between giving feedback and being a fucking asshole.



I'll bite, I may have gone overboard with that, but when you got someone claiming that it's incomplete and wants no feedback on it AND has a bad history of characters, you don't exactly have high hopes for it.

I'm only going to assume that your answer to my question was yes based on that post. If something was seriously wrong with my stuff you would have posted it in the release topic.
