Nice, it's from that weird game where he's the final boss?Needless to say, you should scale the sprites in the code, so that he doesn't look small compared to other chars.

Well, i dont think so. Damage is good. When I fight versus KFM our strength is evenly matched. About scaling: this size is the best as for me, you can always change scale yourself. Mine char scale is 0.7,0.7.
Dash anims, especially backdash, don't look too great, but it's nice to see someone outside the 10000000000 MKP clones putting these sprites to use.
Nice work you've done in a single day.I hope he'll have some nice combos so there's some strategy. I hope alignment isn't too hard, looks like some moves have slight misalignement, but I'm not sure.Good luck.
man looks pretty good so far! all the combos in source look like they're smoothly implemented herei wish you the best with this, as said before it's good to see these sprites used for something other than some broken-ass mortal kombat compilation
I'd welcome Hyper or Drunk Jackie with open warms, but it's good to see this fun game get some love nonetheless.Will keep an eye on your WIP.

There was a Jackie made like this before with MK gameplay and fatalities. Will yours be like Fists of Fire gameplay or custom?
I don't know what is this Fists of Fire, never played. Im making Dragon Ball chars, but I found these sprites and I thought: maybe I will make a "human"? xD I would really like to make some Tae Kwon Do based characters so dont be suprised if Jackie will be a better fighter with legs than hands.

Well, after watching some videos about Fists of Fire, I must say its shit. I dont like this kind of gameplay. Mine Jackie Chan is much more real. I think it was amazing that you kept him very simple!By the way, I found that 0.8 scale fits better than the 0.7 scale you're using on him.
It depends on your taste. I still prefer 0.7. Next char will probably be Kim Kaphwan with familiar gameplay.
Feedback:Gameplay--I move in one place for a second or two if I hold forward and x at the same time. I'm guessing thats not supposed to happen.-Based on the animation [a],[a],[a] seems like it's supposed to chain, but it doesn't.The third kick misses,or maybe my timing just sucks.-That's one long ass forward dash!!! General--His clsn need to be revamped imo. His stance doesn't really need the boxes to move according to his animation. A stationary one would be just fine.It should also be moved further back to about his shoulder as well.You're also using way too many boxes in general(jumping, blocking,crouching,etc.)Stuff like thisSpoiler, click to toggle visibiltycould be simplified.. Two or three blue ones to cover a reasonable area is better, no need to hit every area of the sprite.-His normals have no vulnerability at all near the red boxes. Thanks for feedback El Presidente, now I know what needs to be corrected before 1.0-this is annoying bug, will be removed in next version-I don't know with witch opponent you were fighting, maybe he was too short. The second kick will throw opponent in air a little bit higher in next version.-It's combining with air kicks. Try dash then "A" or "B" or even "A""B"-Is it wrong that it's a bit more accurate?-Forgot about that xD New Clsn2 will be added in next version.

His normals kinda look similar to Koopakoot's Adelheid normals and command normals so you can use them as a reference point for some of Jackie's moves. Will try that. You can change scale in chan.cns. Next versions will have two type of .cns. One with scale 0.7 just like now and other with 1.0 (tell me if you want other) and with accurate hitsparks.Anyway, some of you may have a problem with his speed. Jackie is real-type of character with no super moves or something like that but it's a bit difficult to play with a faster opponent even KFM. I was wondering what to do with power bar for Jackie and got an idea to make a stamina bar out of it. When he will have more than 2000 of power his attack will be about 2x faster than normal. More than 1000 and he will have normal speed attacks, just like now. Less than 1000 and his attacks will be slower. Of course stamina will replenish faster when just standing.
