You're confusing me.... ???
what do you mean?

what are you using to manage them?

To edit the effects for that pallet i suggest you start over from scratch, did you change the pallet colors in FF? i suggest a better program FF pallet making features is crap. that is if you are using fighter factory.

Photoshop..etc anything besides FF.

I strongly don't recommend using fighter factory ever, ever for changing and managing the colors in your pallet, i  don't know if Gimp has a pallet function, but you can look in it and see, just use another program rather than fighter factory, For better results.

Actually ff is much easier.
For better results? its the same thing dude.
I wouldn't consider that a infinite since you have to make your opponent bounce of the wall and if you do it on the wrong side of the stage the stage interaction would activate.

with another pallet editor you can undo your mistakes and look At the whole animation instead of a little box, FF is not a good pallet editor/ it's probably the worst pallet editor ever.

to change the color, you change the pallet color that links to the fires color.

So i have only to use the palette function of GIMP (if it exists) and make it alot better?

that still takes much more time, ff is just there for you, why would you open another program to just make a pallet and then open ff to code?
when you can do both at once.
ff pallet editor isn't difficult at all, you just have to know what your doing.

You can't unfortunatly, since the PalFX (the code that makes the burned colors for the opponents) is coded in (in this case) K-BLOOD.

And that's a lot of digging through character documents if you don't know exactly what your looking for.

so it doesn't have to do anything with making palettes? ???

hmmm, and i thought i could find it by messing a palette.

Not rly, just look in the debug for the state no of that fire attack your looking for, look in its hitdef, you should see a palfx coding in the ending.
just adjust it to your liking from there.

it changes for the whole character.

now if you want it for a certain pallet(im assuming) make a *trigger =* and put pal=# and make sure the pallet ur making is numerically that number.

and how can i do this exactly?
it's because i have my personal problems with coding.

it would be alot of hitdefs triggered by palno=#

or youcould use one and use ifelse etc... but lets not get into that

As far as I've seen, these new palletes aren't that bad now, but you may want to add the creator of the character, otherwise we don't know wich particular Rock(in this case) the pallete goes to.

sorry, will notice that. :)
I did also some palettes for N-Geese, and I'm planning on a Seperation Patch for O-Adel, it's difficult to make individual palettes for him. I'm about 4%.

If someone wants a palette for an other char and/or author, send me the char please.
But you must be patient, because i have a lack of time.
