Don't think I've ever seen a Michael Jackson topic here so thought I'd make one.

Any MJ fans? Seen any concerts? Heard his albums? have a fave MJ song, put it all here!

As for me, My fave MJ albums are Thriller and Dangerous, and I LOVE watching any clips from the Bad Tour, my fave MJ song is Human Nature.

Oh also its fine to discuss the man, and talk about plastic surgery and such but I'd appreciate it if people don't hate (it's not nice for fans).

This includes "hes a pedo" or "his nose is going to fall off" etc etc (basically use your common sense)

Who's bad??  :sugoi:

*Edit* Videos on last Page... RIP MJ

Thriller is objectively and historically his best album. I bought a pirated DVD once with all his videos, I noticed I liked every single one of them. I don't know if that makes me his fan :P
He was a great artist, and effectively still a legend.

My favorite song from him is "Don't stop til you get enough", it had that delicious funk going on :pleased:
"We live in a world of perpetual outrage"

MJ, the king of pop, the pioneer of music videos. He can have slumber parties with 100 children, it still won't stop me from listening to P.Y.T. or Remember the Time. Never saw him in concert live but I've seen quite a few of the ones that were video taped.

And yeah, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough gets played in heavy rotation.

I think the fact that His songs from the 70's are still played frequently today is a testament to his legacy, It's a shame he's remembered more for his "quirkiness" then his music now-a-days

Bad has so brilliant dance coreography, although my fave MJ music vid is probably jam or remember the time

Mjs songs are timeless, like don't stop til you get enough. Even today it has such an infectous groove that just cheers you up! Thats pretty much true for all of off the wall, Quincy and MJ were an unstoppable team. I hope they work together again at some point...

Yeah I mean I guess its fine to say what songs are your fave but say why and stuff lol

Oh and another thing, apparently MJ has come up with some new moves that hes gonna perform at the london concerts. I'm not sure he came up with whatever moves himself, maybe its just a move that most people aint seen. Either way, a dance move can be done 100 times, but when MJ does it his always looks better!!  :sugoi:

  • Who the Hell Do You Think I Am?!?
Did any1 see the memorial on Tuesday? I thought it was repulsive and annoying to watch. Everyone was plugging their shit while saying they "remember" Micheal. I can't even begin to believe how they managed how to get his daughter to talk at the end. No one was showing true emotion. Also, some told silly stories that  I would never see fit for memorial. I believe that you can't mourn along with the whole world. "One does not mourn in front of the world" - Gene Simmons. "It was a fiasco" - Diana Ross. These two hold my beliefs about the whole overblown fiasco about the King of Pop. Sure, I was sad about a week ago when he died, but this is too much for one person. Families wait for their relatives who are fighting for our freedom, but we as Americans blow it off for someone who slept with kids. "I'm sorry I can't Moonwalk" - a U.S. soldier. This is bs. How can we keep mourning for this guy and blow it out of proportion while our Army brothers are dying. Micheal Jackson was just a singer who no one cared about years past his prime. Why do we care now that he's dead?  --;

Well if you were a true fan...and stayed loyal him through thick and thin then maybe you have the right to mourn...

Off the wall, thriller, bad and dangerous were all very good... I think dangerous is especially underated as an album and as an era (because of the 1st investigation). I also feel that if dangerous was released instead of bad it would have sold alot more albums  :sugoi: (although 25 million if I recall isnt bad!)

I'm glad this thread hasn't gotten twice as popular now that he's dead.

Yeah, I'd rather just have the people who are/were his actual fans rather then posers... Also looking back it was a really weird timing. I made this thread right before the "this is it" anouncements.

I have been a devoted fan for decades now but I was too young to experience MJ during the height of "Thriller", but during my time as a fan I've seen lots of videos from his concerts and listened to all of his adult solo stuff (including unreleased stuff). I just wanted to create a thread for other people that appreciate his music and performing.

To save this post

Rock with you
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GN6kgYMrXI

This is the reason that the "Bad Tour" is considered the greatest ever... Pure energy, electric dance moves and perfect singing. I hope I can keep posting videos that people may not have seen so that people can understand why he is the king of pop.  :sugoi:
