I'm working on a project to play with your character edited .

In reality, the game don't use the Editor mugen, but an editor that I made in VB EE.

Editor Features (All in One):
- Edit Character
         -> Add, Remove, Replace, Frame
         -> Create animation (Ready stance, walk l/r, Jump ecc)
         -> Create zone collision (style MCM for Mugen)
         -> Create Macro for Animation (for Combo)

- Edit Level
         -> Add, Remove, Replace, Level

- Edit FX
         -> Create effect: explosion, hadooken ecc

- Edit Sound
         -> Add Sound (Music for level)
         -> Add Sound (Effect for character)

- Edit Menu
         -> Add, Remove, Replace, Start Menu
 
 This video is old version of editor (The new version does not use a unique texture for the character, but you import single frame)

Now I'm finishing the collision editor.

My idea is to make the game with 8 character unpublished, put it on appstore at a low price, and give the editor for free to create or modify their characters.

The editor will automatically uploading to an FTP and download them via a URL on iPhone.

N.B. or use SSH + iPhone tunnel (only for iPhone with jailbreak)

I would find a gfx (expert in pixel art) to create 8 new original characters.

This looks great man. Many people will be happy with this as Mugen has never been on anything like the Iphone. Keep it up!
I'll try to keep checking on your progress as this is something I'm really intrested in.

i think we should call it an "engine" so we don't look like total idiots because otherwise we'd be arguing about a "game" and that would be somehow "dumber" than arguing about an "engine" on the "internet" for countless hours

But this is not Mugen. He's just calling it Mugen because it's a similar engine.
He coded everything himself, and paying 0.79€ to 2€ for such an application, especially if it offers a good gameplay and 8 original characters, doesn't seem much to me.

Linux Full Screen
Mobile HTC HD2 (800x400)

The editor work with big Sprite (charcter, level, Menu, ecc) for Win and Mac OSx, and when export it (charcater or level ecc) for iPhone/iPod/iPad and Mobile  the editor Autoresize the sprite for selected platform ...

Are you talking about the atmosphere or the gameplay ??? Hokuto no Ken has not so much in common with Street Fighter, in terms of atmosphere, graphics and gameplay. At least not more differences than with the Black heart. :P

I have not studied history for gamplay, but in these games the story is always non-existent  :P

i just hate the part that you will be blocking almost half of the screen when playing (yes, i know its supposed to be like that)
and it doesn't look comfortable playing with it. i still prefer my keyboard =3. <~ thats just an opinion from what i saw. but the rest is pure awesome  :sugoi:

Anyway, I have SF4 on my Ipod Touch, and even though the commands take a good part of the screen, they work quite well (plus, there's no other way :P).

- SeanAltly (his Shades of Manhattan WIP game : http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?board=350.0, which has gameplay similar to Street Fighter).
- Rikard. His chars are very high edits of KOF chars, so I don't know how this would be seen regards to copyright.

Yes, i release for all platform.

I think:
Mac Os - Free
Ubuntu Linux - Free
Windows XP, Vista,  7 - Free

Iphone 2G/3G/3GS/iPad - ( between 0,79 € and 1,50 € -  I do not know exactly)

The editor for add Character, stage ecc, is Free (at the moment work only on Windows)

yes, it uses a system similar to mugen, using a simple visual editor (WYSIWYG )


2) how much space will it take up on the iphone?

A complete character is around 5MB (with music and effects, etc.)
100 characters use 500 MB of Disk Space
The limit is the space available on the iPhone (my iphone have 8GB of free space)

3)why call it imugen & not just say i-fighter or something more creative?
The engine

Now I called iFight Creator, and I divided into:
iFight-Engine (the engine of the game)
iFight-Editor (the editor of the characters, sound, stage etc.)

4) will u make it easier to pull it up like a regular iphone app?

I hope there are no problems with Apple during the approval of App

Hello everyone,
will give some news.

IMugen now called IFIGHT-CREATOR!

Right now I'm using IFight-Creator to create a game at the request of a company (so to finish the game engine)
The Game is: Martial Masters, which will be released on the iPhone - iPod and iPad

When I release the full game (Martial Masters), I decide to release IFight-Creator (Engine + Editor) for free!

This will depend on the number of "Like" that receive on FaceBook (There are only 40 "Like" and should be minimum 1000)

In addition I am preparing an Editor for Game platform (the editor works on windows, the game works on iPhone, iPod, iPad, Win Mobile and Android) is called: Platform Construction Kit

It allows you to realize: Classic Platform, RPG and Shoot'em'up

I'm looking for a 2D graphics, to create a platform game!
