I'm working on a project to play with your character edited .In reality, the game don't use the Editor mugen, but an editor that I made in VB EE.Editor Features (All in One):- Edit Character -> Add, Remove, Replace, Frame -> Create animation (Ready stance, walk l/r, Jump ecc) -> Create zone collision (style MCM for Mugen) -> Create Macro for Animation (for Combo)- Edit Level -> Add, Remove, Replace, Level- Edit FX -> Create effect: explosion, hadooken ecc- Edit Sound -> Add Sound (Music for level) -> Add Sound (Effect for character)- Edit Menu -> Add, Remove, Replace, Start Menu This video is old version of editor (The new version does not use a unique texture for the character, but you import single frame)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbzzFcEaYFgFeatures in ended game:+ Arcade+ VS (bluetooth, Network)+ Training+ 2 Big Character+ Multi parallax level+ Big Special FXIn this video, run iMugen directly on iPhone (I have an iphone 3G): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S05EvAO-OQNow I'm finishing the collision editor. My idea is to make the game with 8 character unpublished, put it on appstore at a low price, and give the editor for free to create or modify their characters. The editor will automatically uploading to an FTP and download them via a URL on iPhone.N.B. or use SSH + iPhone tunnel (only for iPhone with jailbreak)I would find a gfx (expert in pixel art) to create 8 new original characters.sorry for bad english, I'm Italian ...
This looks great man. Many people will be happy with this as Mugen has never been on anything like the Iphone. Keep it up!I'll try to keep checking on your progress as this is something I'm really intrested in.
Shamrock said, April 28, 2010, 05:22:45 pmLet me know if you need a tester as I use a jailbroken Iphone. When I end the collisions and FX, I contact you

Scirocco said, April 28, 2010, 09:08:14 pmwait, what? are you selling it?Excuse me, unfortunately it is the fault of my bad English After I've finished to program it, I sell the game, but the the editor will be relesed for free.
But this is not Mugen. He's just calling it Mugen because it's a similar engine. He coded everything himself, and paying 0.79€ to 2€ for such an application, especially if it offers a good gameplay and 8 original characters, doesn't seem much to me.
if some graphic (Pixel Art For 2D) is interested to working with me, can contact me at email:diego.taviano@tin.it
Pixel Art 2D? Is that a sprite engine your using? But yeah, creating a character for the Iphone sounds really intriging.
Actually, Diegs, maybe you could contact Borghi. He may be interested in seeing his Black Heart fullgame being translated to iPhone in a way or another.
Kratos said, April 29, 2010, 07:38:19 pmWow...Also, maybe you could make an Ipad version some day. my intention is to integrate on the editor:Export for: iPhone 2G - 3G or iPod (whit Blob shadow)iPhone 3GS - 4G (Realtime Shadow)iPadWin 32 Full Screen (800x600 ~ 1900x1600)Mac Osx Full ScreenLinux Full ScreenMobile HTC HD2 (800x400)The editor work with big Sprite (charcter, level, Menu, ecc) for Win and Mac OSx, and when export it (charcater or level ecc) for iPhone/iPod/iPad and Mobile the editor Autoresize the sprite for selected platform ...

Are you talking about the atmosphere or the gameplay ??? Hokuto no Ken has not so much in common with Street Fighter, in terms of atmosphere, graphics and gameplay. At least not more differences than with the Black heart.
Nero. said, April 30, 2010, 01:35:01 pmHe's probably talking about the sprites.exact Nero said:Are you talking about the atmosphere or the gameplay Hokuto no Ken has not so much in common with Street Fighter, in terms of atmosphere, graphics and gameplay. At least not more differences than with the Black heart.I have not studied history for gamplay, but in these games the story is always non-existent
But Black Heart has a great story. And because the sprites are simpler than, say HNK or SF, you should have an easier time.

Looks interesting. Are you still open to ideas for original characters cause I have one that I think you'll like.

good job i just hate the part that you will be blocking almost half of the screen when playing (yes, i know its supposed to be like that)and it doesn't look comfortable playing with it. i still prefer my keyboard =3. <~ thats just an opinion from what i saw. but the rest is pure awesome p.si wonder if sweaty hand dudes will suffer playingwill get one of those.
So in the subway, you're going to connect a keyboard to your iPhone to play iMugen on it ?! Anyway, I have SF4 on my Ipod Touch, and even though the commands take a good part of the screen, they work quite well (plus, there's no other way ).

Original artists are hard to find.On this forum, you can try contacting these creators, who have made original creations :- Borghi (previous link)- SeanAltly (his Shades of Manhattan WIP game : http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?board=350.0, which has gameplay similar to Street Fighter).- Rikard. His chars are very high edits of KOF chars, so I don't know how this would be seen regards to copyright. You Ippo sprites are those by Toskomics no ? He also made a Goku and a Megaman in the same style. Try Spanish or Portuguese forums to contact him.

Diegs said, May 27, 2010, 03:17:30 pmOfficial WebSite:http://ifightcreator.webng.com/ Awesome! I added you to the links section of my website.I just read your website. The editor looks fairly simple to use.I love the idea of cross platform online play.AlsoQuoteI'd like to make a system of Online profiles with: * description of the User (with Avatar) * related score for wins, draws and losses * match won in less time * chartsI've thought about having something like that for mugen, for a long time now. It would be great to have that. Your project looks really promising, and you're making great progress. Keep it up!
ok im going to comment first before i ask my questions. i think this is a great job u have done so far. it looks like it will be well recieved & keep up the good work. ok now i only have like 3-4 questions about it. 1) can u add characters, stages & so on like u can do for mugen? 2) how much space will it take up on the iphone? 3)why call it imugen & not just say i-fighter or something more creative? and 4) will u make it easier to pull it up like a regular iphone app?
1) can u add characters, stages & so on like u can do for mugen? yes, it uses a system similar to mugen, using a simple visual editor (WYSIWYG )2) how much space will it take up on the iphone? A complete character is around 5MB (with music and effects, etc.)100 characters use 500 MB of Disk SpaceThe limit is the space available on the iPhone (my iphone have 8GB of free space)3)why call it imugen & not just say i-fighter or something more creative? The engine Now I called iFight Creator, and I divided into:iFight-Engine (the engine of the game)iFight-Editor (the editor of the characters, sound, stage etc.)4) will u make it easier to pull it up like a regular iphone app?I hope there are no problems with Apple during the approval of App
