a) I wished to know if it would so troublesome for a moderator/administrator to merge my older project topics in a single thread.
If is possible, then I can provide links for these threads. I just wish to have all the old replies and feedback in a single thread since I could review old feedback more easilly.
b) Is ok building a alternative sound file for a existing character? I'm planning to do a snd replacement for a character which have non japanese voices which make it pretty annoying, I could use the values for each voices in a brand new file. But it would troublesome doing that even without the permission of the author?

Yes you can, just link the threads you need merged and a mod will do it eventually.

The second thing is called a soundpatch, if you look around you will see there are a few persons that do them, they go into edits and add ons.

Thanks, I'll edit the thread with the links and posts. As for the character is actually a sprite swap, but owners would find it enjoyable with the original voices. I may use Magical Chaser sound effects for the sound patch to make more enjoyable.
However, I'll don't provide that character's link, if somebody is interested then it's better to get a request topic. With time I'll upload it.

Well if the character is still available online then you can include a link to the author's website or werever is hosted to avoid unnecessary requests (since there's no point in making a request if the character is online).

If the character is offline then yeah, tell people to go to the request section.

That character was found in a warehouse so I should not submit the link for download.

I was wondering: The international area section must have a single topic for each language? I'm asking because I wished to start my own and don't post where exists topics which are not quite of my interest.

no, you can't create your own thread, otherwise it will simply be merged with the portuGEESE thread.

YOU CAN HOWEVER, start discussing another topic in the genral portuguese thread, if there are other people who don't want to take part in the shitfest going on (which is most lkely the case) they will reply to you and and you can simply ignore the posts regarding ilu's one-man brazilian revolution.

if your native language exists in thread form, use that, if not, you can create a thread for your language.

Thanks for the replies. It'll don't be possible for me comment on that thread talking about mugen ideas. I do know that brazilians like O Ilusionista hates the type of character which I do. So it would not a good idea talking about a character of mine there. Since it's not possible create my own thread there, then I'll just use the international boards and deal with that.

Toshio, what others care or dont care its irrelevant. you can talk about what you like as long as you are not breaking away any rules or some such, there is no offtopic inside those threads.

You PMed me about to test a char from you (named "Sei que não é bem o que você gosta, mas..." which means "I know its not exaclty what you like, but"), I've tested it and gave you my Feedback.

Dunno where I was rude or insulted you. I just said, dunno where, that I don't like that type of chars, just that.
But if you say "I do know that brazilians like O Ilusionista hates the type of character which I do." sounds like I will beat you to death if you say something about it.

I NEVER said or made such thing. That section is a random topic, you can talk about whatever you want and I am not in charge of that section.

Characters are characters, "off-topic" is "off-topic", feel free to post in the Portuguese topic. I'll buy a muzzle to not let Ilu bite you in that thread.

ALso, if the people who pst in the portugeese thread hate the characters you make, making a secondary thread aimed at the same people won't make any difference.

Guys, I'm very sorry. I'm not mad with O Ilusionista for not liking that type of character, in fact is something which we must deal with. My apologies, I should not have mentioned names. If possible, I would like my mentions about O Ilusionista edited and everything which may mention him. I do not had the intention of making him look bad, I also thank him for his patience of testing a character which doesn't fit his tastes. Once again, I'm deeply sorry.

That thread is an exception since it's a special thread for people to improve their English. But there were 2 Spanish threads created to discuss different subjects and those were deleted (not merged because nothing interesting nor important was being said there).

I'm requesting a clean up on that thread, I did it to make questions about the forum. I do not wish to have unrelated argument or drama here. The issue with O Ilusionista is solved, if someone wish to have these arguments or drama, then I request to split the thread and take them away.

Yes the case is closed, just deleting comments from a pile wont solve or do anything except hide what happened there. You dont need to do it, much like you dont need to announce a thread close it, stop posting on it and it goes away.
