So I a few months ago I noticed that some users have extra titles added to their existing status for eg:Kirishima has a contributor status and palette thingy status. And I was wondering:How about making a new custom status for COTM winners? I think it was done before in another forum, it's not really something that's needed, but I just felt like suggesting it.
A long time ago, there was something like a "Sprite competition winner" star IIRC.Yeah, sounds like a nice idea, a status or a star (if you can find an available colour ).
The problem is that this can only be done when the creator of the character that was voted is registered in this forum. Don't know if there are more people outside of this forum that are voted than inside it, though.
So far though, every winner has had a registered account here, and most nominees I think are those that have accounts here.
If they're not registered, then oh well. This is a good idea. What do you think the star should look like?

Black should be for cursed, but if we're not going to add it a colour, then yeah, this one should be good enough.

Cursed isnt supposed to stand out, some people would want to get it to get all the stars, when well applied, cursed doesnt even show the name.
Get all the stars ? Yeah, I want the MFG founder star. It's one of the very few I've never had (I even had the admin star for 2 or 3 days as a fake admin, given by Sepp or Val).

Then how about using that black star for banned guys? That way people knows inmediately who's banned and they don't write or answer them in threads.
Can you guys put something on the banned people so we know they are banned? I remember in the past we had lights to show the status of the people (Warned/ moderated/ Banned). Maybe something like that for the people who are temporarily AND permanently banned?
As you've said, that implies going there to see it. But why would I even check its profile? I don't go around checking other people profiles.I think adding a member group for Banned would be cool, since it would tell you inmediately about that. If you want an example, it should do like the Muted status from MI.
What exactly is the scenario where you need to see if they're banned but don't have time to click on their name?
