They forgot that you have a chance to take the girl home or maybe a kiss... $8 talking while playing games or $8 going to a bar getting the girl's number/taking her "home"

Tough choices...

In Japan there are some maid cafe where you can play games with a girl in the same room (it's like the softcore version of a hostess bar... or whatever they're called). You can also watch animu, exchange gifts, eat her "hand-made" food or just talk, etc.
