Because it's easier to edit generic character who have a large moveset, such as Ryu, Ken, Gouki, Kyo, K', Iori or Kula.
I'll be doomed the day we see various edits of Clark, Duck or Dee Jay.

I have to agree with him. KOD rushing in with "NOT ANOTHER KULA EDIT" doesn't help, MC2 crying "YOU CAN'T IMPROVE PERFECTION" made it much worse.

As for the character it's Zel's spin on Kula, which isn't a good thing. While the edits are a nice touch more care into the hitboxes and similar would have gone a long way to give a feeling that this was a character he cared about making more than the final results. I don't care what the excuses are, this needs more work done on it asap to feel more like a unique work than what it does now.

Oh, and protip: MC2, Iron's Kula is borderline broken thanks to her damage and juggling. Everyone else has realized this, you really need need to come to terms with that and stop parading it as the most perfect version of the character in the world. It's damn annoying kthnx.

I added Rugal's face because she has his moveset.

I have no clue why she doesn't work for me.  Maybe it's because I was fighting her and not using her?

Two possibilities would be the password could've been entered wrong possibly but that's improbable. The other being the stage perhaps. She works here at least, just the gameplay *really* needs work.

You're forgiven. I gets on a lot of peoples' nerves.  It's just a side effect of having only one or two decent conversions of your favorite character and then fifteen hundred lackluster characters based on them.

I've used like 6 different Kulas and only CCI's and Nao&M's stood out as any good.
I've never found a truly good Kula for mugen. I share your pain, as Kula is one of my favorite KOF characters, too. The only semi decent one is probably Nao&M's. And even she didn't feel quite right to me. (Luckily I was able to edit her quite a bit to make her MUCH nicer, but she still isn't the top notch Kula I'd dream of.) CCI Kula was pretty terrible. Which is weird since most of his work was quite nice.

If only Jin had finished his XI Kula. :( :( :(

My ass we should.  That piece of shit gave me a headache kicking her ass with Jin's Rugal.

None of Crucifix's other edits are any good either, unless you love getting your ass beat by horribly flashy and badly coded(and badly sprited)bastardizations of what was once a normal character.  In that case you'd be better off with well made cheapness like Rare Akuma or even Mega Akuma with his huge movelist.

I agree.........sometimes when beginners do a sf3 character or edit one people ask why they wanted to work on a character that is harder to work on.........and yes sometimes those beginners do end up having a hard time and rather releasing a character that is average but not crappy though.....

by editing these types of characters creators can rather have a larger scale of productivity because of the character's generic gameplay........

practically it seems kula is one of the characters easier to edit.......and her sprites i guess is easier to edit too.......... ;D

this reminds me of the anti-gouki project in the wips section........ ;P
