A few years ago me and an old buddy I use to work with were at Peppers in Broad Ripple drinking new castle, jagerbombs and Foster's (started from 11pm until 2:30am). Crashed at his place and woke up around 9am the next day. Needed to get home so I could change clothes and go to work but didn't really want him to be behind the wheel. Was flat broke so I couldn't catch a bus, called everyone I knew to try and get a ride - no go. And I needed to be at work fairly soon so I had to put my trust into him....besides, it's not like we could both be in his car and I just drive myself home (car is a stick shift).

10 minutes later we're on the road and this asshole is losing his concentration, driving on the side of the road. I warn him and he gets startled. I tried to take ctrl of the wheel to swerve back in place.....tried anyway. An old lady clips the left rear end to spin us back on the other side of the road and another car clips us on the left front end...then one more rams us in the ass to finish the deal.

I get a deep cut on my right leg (which has become a permanent scar) and an apology from him, he got a busted-to-hell car and insurance strain.

I end up just calling the day off and chilled. When in the next day and it's the talk of the town in the office. One of the girls who works there came in on the convo unexpected and asked if I was ok. I told her I was and she gave me the consoling patdown, like a cop would do. Few more days pass, flirtation gets stronger and she opens up to me about her feelings for me and how afraid she was for my life. This girl just happens to be my most recent ex (there's a long story about her posted involving me taking a picture during one of her "precious" moments, saving it as a wallpaper on my cellphone.....and her mother seeing it).
