I get really pissed of when people critisize not professional (i don't ment with this that I'm a professional) on topics, well here are bunch a people who are here to just post dumb comments. If your gonna critisize someone leave it for your self, people are here to meet friends & learn something, they are not hear to get critisized.
I'm not gonna mention who is it & who isn't, they self know who are they.
I know that this topic is gonna be flowed by some critisizm and I don't give a ****. Really I don't want to show my unfriendly side in this forum or any others.
For those who can just critisize others, they better leave their dumb *** comments for their self, it's easy to say someone who is miles away from you then to a person who stays beside you.

Criticism is awesome! Though I prefer it done a bit tactfully.

However, different people have different reactions and mentalities. Whenever I give feedback I always follow up apologizing to the author in the event he/she does not care fore critics. I ask if me criticizing is ok with them. I personally love it because it opens my mind to new ideas and possibilities. Even if I decide not to heed the feedback I still try to look at it with an open mind. Weigh the pros and cons of following the feedback.

I do think people should not bother with giving feedback to individuals that do not want it.

But some of us DO WANT it. It helps us improve vastly!

Yes but the difrent people don't react really good with it, for example: A kid post's on Release hiw first character, bad sprites etc. then others start critisize and he he lose interest to finish the character and lose interests in mugen.
I meet one kid he sayed: "mugen sucks, there are too many assholes out there, they don't wanna help"

Myslef and others! I'm not a selfish person who will make a private character then show to the others and say "hey guys look what I have made and you will not get it"

I wasn't talking about keeping characters private. If you make characters for yourself, then what others say about them should affect little to you

See here, when someone criticizes you whether it be proffessional or as you think is dumb, they're still criticism. All you ever need to do is understand what they're trying to say and try to solve the problem.

I have a hunch you're probably just referring to people who flame you. Now those aren't criticisms.

It's all up to each person to comment on something as he wants to. Some people write in a harsh way (Kira, Sol Badguy Z), while others give feedback in a nice way.
All of the critics are valuable, and you should not feel personnally offended or attacked by these critics. Take a "it sucks" comment as a "I don't like it", and if the guy doesn't state why "it sucks", ask him to be more precise and tell you what he doesn't like exactly.

Though that attitude just makes some guys stop giving feedback except to a select few ones.

Sup, leave'em all the time. Kinda just run with it now basicly. No way to hide it and my horrible inabilty to spell words properly and understandbley. Always a boomin' good tyme when I'm around. \o/
