Yeah I like this Ryo a lot. It's also not that hard to make him Winmugen compatible, just takes a bit of effort on your part.

I don't think you need to attack every single person still using winmugen.

Friend of mine is trying to make him compatible with winmugen, maybe I'll ask him and include it as a patch.

But I'm not doing it myself.

Oh wow, this is a great character! Great job!

I'm not sure if this is intentional, but you cannot throw opponents when they are dizzied by Tenchi Haoh Ken. In CvS2 you can, but in KOF2002 you cannot.

The flames for the EX Koho don't really seem to fit the move IMO, and they don't seem to follow Ryo's motion very well. I also don't think that the Haoh Sho Ko Ken should set opponents on fire either, but that's just me.

Additionally, I'm finding it hard to pull off Koho and Hien Shippukyaku. The .cmd file lists the command for Koho as "~F, D, F, [...]"; I think it would be easier to pull off if it was "~F, D, DF, [...]". I don't know why I'm having trouble with Hien Shippukyaku though.

Yo nice release buddy some feedback:

-His qcfx2+2p gives debug when not playing against himself
-random red clsn in his stand to crouch animation and walking animation
-His grab clsn could be adjusted to grab smaller opponents
-His f,b,df projectile hyper both level 1 and 2 have shadows when hit on impact, its hit animation has shadows aswell.


thats all i can find right now, btw does he have his charge db,f kick? cant seem to be able to pull it off. Also it would be cool if his med punch could connect to his kohou
I wouldn't consider that a infinite since you have to make your opponent bounce of the wall and if you do it on the wrong side of the stage the stage interaction would activate.

i had a weird bug with zanryutsken that makes the enemy jump around the screen O_o

i did an zanryutsken when heros iori was in air, ha parried twice and then it happend

i cant reproduce it for some reason :/

That IS a valid command. The dollar sign just makes Mugen count the diagonals, for example $D detects DB, D, and DF. I've pulled off the move before, but I can't do it consistently.

$D = DB or D or DF. $DB == DB. there's no difference.
