im using cyborg ninja for the base

2nd player's palette looks pretty weird. Is this an intentional palette? If it is, I don't recommend you use it. It looks pretty...bad.
im using cyborg ninja for the base, then i have 2 palletes, 1 for shang tsung and the second for cyrax, im in the spriteswap, then i have the old pal, when i finish the swap im gonna erase the cyborg pal  :)

will he be able to morph?

So long as he has the Kintaro fatality in some fashion, I'll be happy. 

I loved playing Shang in MKII the most.  I hardly even shifted really.  I just liked his design that much. 
I liked him less in MK3 and even less in the 3-D MK games.

i forgot to explain, he wont morph into the bosses for the fight, but he will morph for fatalitys, like the kintaro torso rip, and a shao khan fatality maybe the hammer, im gonna see it in the moment

pd: me too disliked the mk3 and 3d shang (except the shaolin monks)

thanks to some edits that I receive from resurrecta, I added a hell shang fireballs attack of Mortal Kombat 3



besides, I complete the normal fireballs attack

se trata de un sencillo combo de LK,LK,Back+HK

I updated the BETA of shang in my page with this changes
but the file need password to uncompress

pd: this is not the final form of the attacks, yet can be changed, the fireballs hell I think need more work

...i dont really get tough how you make him morph into all MK II characters since that would really mean a lot work for you..basically you would need to create all MK II characters first right?

the third image is the effect in kompatible chars, and the las image is the effect in no kompatible chars

Is there a way you can code the AI so he always does his fatalitys? Or if someone likes one fatality more than others you can change the percent that he would do the fatality you like more?

a full game? maybe they can be compiled in a game but they use all the engine(common effects, sounds, code) inside each char, then to a full game would be better modify them to share resources
but now im happy with them working in regular mugen  :)

My only gripe is the kintaro fatality.

i made my chars thinkin in them like a engine and i have time thinking in compile them some day, but not yet

you can rip the sprites from MAME using codes to erase the background and put other color, then you use the normal rip methods like impr pant or use a program to save the sprites like a video and then copy

i gave to liu kang his left special and finish moves, and i made some changes in the system and now i think the basic morph system is finished, then soon im gonna start with the other morphs

1. the dragon sprpriority, well , you are right, i not saw that detail

2. the rayden torpedo, kung lao  have that move in mortal kombat trilogy, that move is a copy of the rayden move, i not understand why they do it, but well, i used it here too

3. now shang havent a morph limit time, i not made a system yet, but im thinking in use it only when he fight vs my chars because when he fight with other chars and he go to a custom state, he unmoprh, then that will be annoying, then he wont have morph limit time VS normal chars, he will still morph, but when he fight VS my own chars he will have the morph limit time

4. yes, i will add the ninjas, but the male and female ninjas will be the last

5. btw, im gonna add a ingame movelist also

I gotta hand it to you man.  Usually MK characters for Mugen suck arse.  You and Omega Psycho though ... you guys are pioneers.  Good work on the soul ninja, roboninja, and the chick ninja.  I can't wait till this Shang is finished I have your beta and from what I've seen it's promising.

that char is too good to be true :D though sometimes i manage to send 5x flaming skull instead of 3x..dunno if its a kinda bug or intended this way as there is no readme yet.Nearly all the moves are very close to accurate except kunglao flying move confused me a bit.?.

I'ld remove commands from anyone BUT the ninjas. Heck, we all loved the ninjas. Make it optional with many CMDs so you choose which chars have their commands changed. :P

That's very good, but can you do one thing? You should disable jumping for the fatality parts, as it interferes with inputs such as "Up, Up, Down" as an example, because the character jumps and it doesn't register properly.

everything is great tho so far, the raiden throw is off trust me i know my mk2 and transparency in blood never looks right.
I wouldn't consider that a infinite since you have to make your opponent bounce of the wall and if you do it on the wrong side of the stage the stage interaction would activate.

the last frame of the animation should stay alittle longer and p2 should have alittle bounce when hiting the ground, not being able to get up so fast.

Just want to say all your MK characters that you have produced so far are amazing!!! The work of a true professional. Your MK2 Shang Tsung is coming along nicely you work very quickly and so far is amazing character!!!

Just want to mention something though Im not sure if this is a bug or if intended as a secret morph but he CAN morph into Jade already!!!??? And when this happens Jade has the ablilty of both Millena and Kitana move sets. Something similar to MK1 Reptile with Sub-Zero's and Scorpion moves I found this by fluke while trying to morph into Millena because I had forgot how to do it and it was not listed in the commands.

If this was supposed to be a secret till you were ready to announce Sorry!!! Otherwise check it out. I won't give the way how morph to her unless you give me the ok.  ;)

EDIT: Most of us already know this but if we simply look up the commands in Fighter Factory on how to morph to Smoke Jade and Noob Saibot you will find that two of the morphs are other peoples friendships and one being a move from Johnny Cage!!! Thats how I found how to morph into Noob and Smoke.

Anyhow Love this character he really kicks ass and dominates!!!
