this is incomplete, but let me know what you think about the start of it.i know his colors are off a bit too!
Well, if you're not going for "perfect sf3 with more than 50 colors", i guess it's cool . . .Except for the skin color on the face . . . and if i'm not too wrong, the color of the boots should be different from the one of the shoulderpads

the only real flaw I see is the purple/pink shading for the shadows on his cloths. The shadows on skin is purple but this isnt the case with clothes, otherwise its nice!

I could be wrong, but I think he shaded correctly.

^ Take the MvC Wolverine and answer yourself if it's an edit or scratch. As far as I'm seeing, your Wolverine is coming great. I'd say you to take references on eFeX's SF3 conversions, which can provides you colors, and overall idea about the shading that, of course, you've been learning looking at SF3 sprites.Very nice work man, Keep it on. And keep him HAIRY PS: What about your old Sakura and Rose?? I'm still drooling, man

I'm still drooling, man i haven't forgot about rose or sakura, i'm just not at a good point to show off either of them right now.there's really no good reference to achieve a sf3_hairy look, and i'm still not sure that i will keep him hairy.here' an update, lowered his head a bit to look more like mvc wolverine. and attempted the hair tooi know the skin tones still off/dark
I like the old head placement better, and the arm hair kinda took away the nice muscle detail you gave him.

With yellows this isn't true.Another (and better) example... Hugo, he wears a "skin clinging" attire so would also be shaded similar to wolvie. Here he is with yellow on, there is no purple on his muscle definition through the clothes.
if you look at his legs though there is purple mixed in. you are right on the shirt though. this would be one of the pallets i brought up earlier.not all follow the same rules. it just depends on the pallet. just like ken has no under glow on his red pants yet ryu and akuma do have purple under glow on there pants. the odd thing is, they are only different pallets. trust me on this one

Other than that and the too-dark skin and the minor quibble about his not having any hair on his arms (!), this is one solid sprite. Now, it's true that yellow clad Street Fighters don't exhibit purplish shading in their clothing (shotoclones in particular) but a) just because they don't doesn't make it wrong and, b) judging by a character like Ibuki they could.-- Oh, and the neck could do with some shading.
His calves are thicker than his thighs. Otherwise looks good, but some mroe facial definition couldn't hurt.
