Decided to work on another project (besides bleach). Only until I get the required sprites I need to finish Ichigo. ;D

So fare this is what I've got, And I'm moving pretty fast on this one:





He's already been color separated. And I'll add a sheet later so you guys can make pallets if you see fit. Just let me know if I'm on the right path, or if there's anything I'll need to know while making him. Thanks :)

You made them? I forgot the author awhile back, so I wasn't able to credit you on the spot. But thanks for making them!

I'll also be using a mix of kens, ryu's, & akuma's sprites to make up seans fighting style. :)

just yesterday. I've already finish all off his basic movements/get hit animations.

Today I'll cover his:

- Basic attacks(Far away, Close up, hold forwards)
- Special attacks.(hopefully)

Topic Update: Evil Sean (Optional Before Game start)

Some Moves Will Be pretty similar to ken's, and some ryu's. With his own unique attacks an specials.

Haha! Thanks, its only a temp color until I get it done right. Still have many things to work on though before I concern myself with his evil side just yet. :)

I hope not; Sean not having a fireball like that made him unique. Mabye just a short-distance fireball like Dan's would work.

I didn't mean fighting style wise. I meant sprite wise. But I'll read up as much as I can to make sure he comes out 100% perfect!

Update: I changed his Hit sparks. :)


I actually have a question about hyper attacks. Would it be a good idea to change them up when pressing one or two bottons?

Example:
D,DF,F(x2), x [Hadou Burst]
D,DF,F(x2) x+y [Shoryu Cannon]

No, I think the best thing is

D,DF,F,(x2) + x/y/z : Hadou Burst
D,DF,F,(x2) + a/b/c : Shoryu Cannon

Use "x+y" version for stronger version of the same super (aka lv2/sdm).

I would suggest that a normal Hadou burst does just one hit and a stronger one could do multiple hits (mabye about 3 or 4).

I never really used Sean that much but I had the idea to use basketball like projectiles that blow up on contact for his evil Sean. instead of the famous ryu style hadouken why not have a launch Sean style...throw a fireball like a basketball? this way he would retain his own traits BUT still be different than any other shoto.. this Sean could use regular basketballs as projectiles. they would do small to no damage but be anti air. just an idea though.

I dont think so...whats wrong with something new? besides it was just an idea anyway. the reason I thought of it is cuz SF3 has a mini game where Sean lobs basketballs at you and you gotta parry them.

Because a true-to-source CvS Sean is what I want in my MUGEN. I don't want all that fancy-smancy satsui no hado bullshit or anything like that. I want a CvS Sean that plays like he's supposed to. I guess I'll have to learn how make him myself.

Then learn and do it yourself. StormEx stated the gameplay was not CvS or SF3, it was his style.

I agree. Sean shouldnt have a fire ball. I love the Hadou-cannon (i forgot what it was called) but he never needed a fire ball. You can give him that two hit shoryuken like he use to have. Upper cut then hit down with his other hand...was it his other hand? lol I just know they took it out in the other version of sf3.
