The texan immigration bill being drafted wants to arrest any illegal mexican immigrant in texas.. except if they perform menial work for households.

The muslim fear is mostly on the right. The left doesnt automatically assume that all muslims are bad. Not everyone on the right thinks that, but most of the ones in public do.

As far as Texas goes... Texas is a joke. It loves small government and is convinced it knows how to fix everything. I think the governer even threatened to leave the union at one point. The teachers and union workers cant strike there, and they have one of if not the highest budget deficits in the country...

but really though when i went to cast my vote (cause i live in Texas) i wanted to know what each party was for and what they were against and im not kidding, almost all the Democrats left there stances on every thing unanswered, except Bill White, who left maybe three or four things not answered. where as the Republican side left next to nothing unknown as far as where they stand, but i still trust nether side most of the time so what does that tell you. now you know where im coming from, as far as the immigration goes, why are people fleeing to another country?

Oh my god. This is finally what us liberals have been asking for except for the maid part.

Listen... This thing is awesome. Every time a liberal tries to pass something that punishes the slave employers it gets shot down big time. Instead only bills that blame and attack the victim are passed.

If you ignore the stupid maid and gardener clause then this thing is great.

I mean the majority of these people are working for shit wages on farms, and these corporate farmers don't have to pay taxes, workmen's comp, insurance, unemployment and a whole slew of other things.

These ass hats turn people into slaves and cheat the rest of us by not contributing to the tax burdens. Their competitors have to hire slaves and cheat us just to compete which means more illegals will be hired.

For once someone is attacking the right people, these criminal employers.
