So with Valentine's Day on the horizon, what are people's plans? Stay at home? Go out for a day on the town with your significant other? Are you still in school asking your mom or dad buy cards for that one girl or boy you like at school? Tell us about it here!!

I have no solid plans as of yet, but my galpal wants me to go and get a tattoo and/or piercing with her since she's too scared, my boyfriend still hasn't brought up the day yet, so I'll update my info once i learn more (or not)

At this moment, Valentine's Day has no meaning for me.  Until I find my significant other, February 14th will just be an ordinary day of no importance.

since it's not a weekend i will be working most of the day anyway. it was better whne i was a student because i would be doing the same as iced.

I had been fine with the day (even though I've been alone for them all), until one year when I had to work on Valentines Day (much to my chagrin).

I used to work as a bagger at a very busy grocery store. Store policy MADE me have to engage in light conversation with the customer whilst I bagged their items.
Every customer asked me the same question, "What are you getting your girlfriend?" And of course I replied that I did not have a girlfriend. The majority gave me a surprised look. They automatically assumed that I would have someone. Some even said "Why not? You're a good looking guy." Of course some customers were smart-asses and asked if I had a boyfriend instead.
After 10 hours (minus the 30 minute break) it left me extremely bitter about Valentines day. From that day forward I was a supported of Singles Awareness Day.

Valentine's Day is just another day to me. If I want to do something special for somebody I'm not gonna wait for a holiday to do it. Things are more meaningful when its spare-of-the-moment IMO.

i hate it cause someone close to my ex passed away on that very day. couldn't cheer her up on the day nor spend time with her

Everything went as improvised.

We all passed but none of us got graded yet because "too long, didn't read," so that was a huge anti climax, then my roommate broke up with her girlfriend. I spent half of the day feeling hungry and most of the rest on the phone talking to a friend because my family didn't really have time for me what with them all being busy eating at my grandmother's birthday party.

Wait, I also washed my bed stuff one of the cats had peed on the night before in order to wish me luck.

You should really get some help over that, its bordering on "Fucking creepy" for way too long and sometimes it steps into "pretend he didnt said a thing" area.
Really, its one of those things where after you read a comment you are left with either completely dismissing the person in order to not dwelve into the matter or asking them if there is something wrong as they dont sound that okay.
