I would have done this in the other versus thread but noside controls that and hes gone awol. I hope everything is fine on his part.

This poll is for other guest character possibilities from existing mugen projects
Although Ronald mc donald is already confirmed I'd like to see how many people think its a good idea to try and revamp him.

Also I have discussed the delicate issue of revamping dragonclaw already with a few people but what do the rest of you think?

You are also welcome to write down other suggestions that arent included the Poll

prodigy's stuff is awesome. He has some very nicely designed characters I wouldn't mind doing a character from his roster.

that teppei character seems funny but at the same time his attacks didnt stand out that much for me.

DragonClaw would be cool, but if you think about it, Kung Fu Man represents Mugen to its fullest. DragonClaw is cooler and more of a flashy character by every means, but KFM is automatically included with every Mugen download. Everyone who has played Mugen, even the ones who tried it for 15 minutes, know who he is. And there are only 2 or 3 decent variants of KFM out there. Yours would be a great addition.

To be further technical, KFM's representation is excessively basic. Maverick, you could think up of plenty of original content for him and it would blend perfectly since he is very nondescript. A possible issue with DragonClaw could be people bitching that you didn't/did include move X or [insert move name here]. KFM is a better fit if you ask me. You could go nuts with homages to other games while adding in your own awesome flair.

And include Suave Dude in one of his intros!!

dragon claw has the most votes but still I have to take int o account the morals behind it. Saikoro said a lot of things that people will bitch about "you forgot this you forgot that, this guy is trying to be reu" I honetsly don't want that. The only reason I included dragonclaw was because I was out voted by my 3 other team mates, otherwise I would have left dragon claws awesomeness in the memory of reu.

you made some good points aboout KFM and there is a shit load of stuff I could do with him. He would actually fit well as a joke character.

Dragon Claw should most likely be left alone. Don't mess with a classic. I voted Ella. I think she'd fit rather nicely in your universe :D

Either that, or Serious KFM.

EDIT: It would be nice to have KFM as a serious bad-ass. He is after all MUGEN's icon. Hence my "serious" suggestion. A bad-ass KFM would be tits. Think the bad-guy in Karate Kid.

It will be hard to make KFM seem like a badass in a roster with the likes of;  Gogo, ogre, shoryu and bryan fury. If I were to do kfm I'd probably include some joke elements but give him a sturdy and quite fierce moveset.

You've created a moral dilemma!! No matter which character you decide to create, its gonna be awesome. It's just a hard to one up Reu's epic as DragonClaw was way ahead of his time. The possibilities are endless, but then again you have that "what tons of forum goers are going to expect" debacle.

You guys brought up some great points with Kung Fu Man. He is indeed iconic as far as Mugen is concerned. And he would make a great joke inclusion. Mav, you can aim for those "funny" martial arts style fight scenes with KFM. One fight scene that immediately comes to mind is Samo Hung's incredible Tennis Racket VS Sai battle. It's funny. And fucking badass.

You've got a whopping megaton of material to work with with KFM. Taking a perspective outside of the whole respect debate, KFM seems like the better choice if you ask me.

@saikoro

If I were to revamp reu's dragonclaw I would probably take a different direction with him but keep some of his key elements. A lot of people will probably not like that and react before they even see the logistics behind the decision. Balance is important dragonclaw will have to be changed a lot to fit into this.

as for KFM i'd probably make him similar to paul phoenix in terms of moveset and overall comedy factor.

thats really not a bad request. Also just to note dragonclaw will be left out although he had the most votes. The issue is just too delicate so there are spaces left.

I was speaking to the guys about adding bane from the dark knight rises. Tom hardy's performance was that awesome that I think he deserves a spot. Not to mention there are some good online impressionist that do banes voice well on youtube that I could rip for sounds.

Hey I know who would be Perfect as a Special Gues Character to this awesome game!!!Machete from The movie Machete portraited by Danny Trejo.He would fit right in ^^, Hope you atleast consider the design and character!

Also Bane would be killer! I really like the way he was shown in the new Batman!

I think I have gathered enough pictures for reference to make raiden. So you'll see him long before revengeance. Also his design is similar to grey fox so I'll use fox as a base.

Also i dont know if you have read this already but I have found a new way to speed up my character making process. I can literally complete a character in just a few hours now thanks to a bunch of new tools a program that automatically instantly transfers animations to models and tricks like using the same sprite standard and air standard since all my characters have the same frame count to insure balance as well as consistency.  So I'll be doing a versus edition where people can pick and design alt costumes for characters.

I would not mind see, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee or Sammo Hung.. as a Asian Star :D they played in a lot of Asian Movies! and are/were Martial Artists!

Jackie chan is a great choice and so is bruce lee. Its more then likely you will see them.

Also Chuck could be a good contestant to Bruce, but he must not be related to the jokes... or else he's a cheap as hell.. but yeah...

Odd question, but how's the Stages going? how many for each series and such?

If I add chuck, then I'd feel compelled to add van damme and jason statham for some reason lol. That would be kinda pushing the roster numbers a bit too far. But yeah chuck minus the chuck jokes is a good choice.

As for the stages? I must admit that I have run out of ideas. I have at least 5 for each so far. The action movie stars will also have their own stage.

I dont want a sub-forum. I had one before and it was counterproductive. Hardly any views since that section is so cluttered and dominated by the most popular guy posting. I'd rather a place more visible.

Mav, you have to add Jackie Chan! any fighting style you want, or Tsui Chik (Jet Li as Black Mask) or Donnie Yen, my suggestions next:

Wheels on Meals - Jackie Chan vs. Benny "The Jet" Urquidez one of the best fights ever. 8)


Black Mask - Tsui Chik (Jet Li) vs. Commando one of my fave action scenes.


And Finally Flashpoint - Donnie Yen vs. Collin Chou just look how the crap they beat their asses on each other, just love the ground grapple moves from Donnie. :sugoi:

Well, those are my suggestions, i think any of them are good. ;D

theres nothing wrong with donnie yen as long as hes not portraying ipman since 2 of my team mates have a problem with that.

If jackie makes a appearance he will definitely be the drunken master. he had so many drunken gods variants that I could include as multiple stances.
