What is the meaning of your existence?

I pose this question mostly because I am angrily attempting to write a term paper on the most 'deep'/cliched prompt ever concieved and thought it would be interesting to see some additional opinions on the matter.

So shoot, what is the meaning of life?

First off, you'd need to spell, "existence," correctly. :ninja:


Second, as for my personal existence, I'm not getting into that because it's something I'm trying to figure out myself. I can't rightly comment on the entire meaning if I don't know the destination... well, except for death.


My uncle's view to the meaning of life, though, is rather simple: "People die and babies are born. That's just it."



Death is the only sure destination. And to be a nerd, I will quote Haku-men, "Death is the only truth."

I've strongly considered just writing 42 or drawing a picture of Alanis Morissette and tapping my professor on the nose, but for some reason I imagine that even if he does get the reference, he wouldn't be overly amused.

There is no real perspective of doom... it seemed more of an optimistic view. The reason people die is so new life can be formed.

while you're growing up, you are the market of toys, gaming, clothing, candy industry giving job for millions of people,
as a grown up you are a part of the industry, and raising your own child,
and you grow old and weak become a market for doctors, pharmacy, and hearing aid industry, giving job for million of people. then you died to fertilize the land.

In just the Darwin since of the word, I would say that it is to breed is much as possible.

In the Biblical sense, I would say that it is to "Be fruitful and Multiply."

In the Buddhist sense of the word, It is to have kids that will suffer to honor you.

In the modern internet sense of the word, it is to find a "real girl" internet, so you can hopefully text her a picture of your cock and play World of Warcraft together while drinking or smoking weed and eating a Fast food.

There is no meaning to anything, we create meaning with our flawed little brains. Anyone who says we are here to reproduce is actually wrong, even though it's a nice common answer. We CAN reproduce, most, if not all, animals are told by their brains to keep reproducing so that they can continue, but it's still meaningless, we don't HAVE to. It's like saying the human race is superior to other animals, except not as abstract.

Or you could take a reasonable approach, yes life might be meaningless, yes death will come and there might be tons of shitt headed your way and, yep life is hard. Now get up from your frigging ass, and pull up your big girl panties and deal the fuck with it. Life has as much meaning as we inbue into it, as much magic as we allow it, values, morals, knowledge, fantasy, pleasure, are all variables distributed throughout a world of chaos, and some wouldnt have them any other way.
Life is a sucession of chaotic events where you try to become more and more the person you want to be, along the way you try to do the best you can for others, you try to be the better person you can be, not because its some genetical imperative, not because of higher forces, not because of the good things it will bring you along the way.  But because you Must.
To be anything less is to do a disfavor to yourself, there are some things you cant be fully human without ( even if many prefer to ignore them), its like, just because how even if you have seen a ton of people abusing their wifes and cheating on them over the time, you shouldnt react as if it was just a regular thing, even if you have seen it happen enough times to be completely unsensitive towards the situation you need to force yourself to react to it, because to be the kind of person that gets used to something like that its to lose a piece of yourself.

There, enough crazy rant for a day.

     Here's what I think, this is a bit deep here..... There is an objective meaning for the existence of life on the whole, and particularly human life, and then there are subjective meanings which apply only to the individual. However, I can not tell anyone what that higher meaning is, it's something they have to discover for themselves... What I will say is this; I believe it is up to the individual to think for themselves, to reach total awareness of their surroundings, and total awareness of themselves.... For those whom can not question themselves will forever remain enslaved by their own egos....
 
    Some would call me a "conspiracy theorist," and that's fine, it's their right to do so.... However, I maintain the same right to call them a coincidence theorist.... Because our entire history up to this day has been one giant conspiracy connected like a giant spider web.... What we call "civilization," is a process of domestication, like cattle, they put people in an un-natural environment, and hence the people adopt to an un-natural paradigm of life, survival instincts are largely bred out of most people.... And our history has long been a story of enslavement and the folks on the hill who want to genetically breed a superior slave to do their will.... Eugenics..... We live in a slave breeding cage.
 
      In fact, we are all slave now... I'm not happy to admit it, but real is real. If we weren't slaves, we wouldn't be forced to use money, we wouldn't have to pay taxes (which we have no say in where they go or what they are being used for), if we were really free, well how many people can honestly say they can quit their job, move out into the woods, and survive?
 
      This all goes back many a thousands of years, I've spent half my life researching this stuff.... Reading the books the elites wrote themselves, going back as far as to the days of Plato even... "Nations" do not exist... This is why we have an international arms industry who instigates wars and arms both or all sides, for a fee... Because peace doesn't make them any money, war is a business... In fact our entire world is a business... And we the people are the peons at the bottom... It's another form of divide and conquer, to erode peoples' moral core out of them.... When a society looses its moral core, there remains nothing to unite the tribe to stand together.... People are easier led by their baser instincts....
 
      In the end, I think it's about finding balance, and maintaining a hold of what it is that makes us truely human... Our ability to feel compassion, to maintain complex thoughts, and to think for ourselves, and discover reality here on earth, around us.... Too much of anything can be a bad thing... So balance is necessary...
 
      On a more philosophical note, this may sound new agey but I am by far not into this new age movement, I think all religion, be it christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Paganism, Political Correctness, even politics can be a religion, all religions (including New Age, and even Darwinism, are there to mentally enslave mankind).. I have been studying the secret societies, the Freemasons, Rosicrucians, Jesuits, and others, for half my life, the elites and their puppet politicians are initiated into "mystery schools," for higher and lower mysteries... Plato referred to this as simply "being initiated into the mysteries." I've always followed a simple philosophy, believe 100% of nothing. Cherry pick, dissect everything, no mass narrative is purely truth or purely false.... Spiritual religions like Christianity and Islam, etc, are allegories, metaphors, and many of them repeat the same symbolisms and same messages over and over again from one religion to the next... Freemasonry ties it all together, it's a giant business plan written in allegories...
 
     But I am a deeply spiritual man.....As we pass through this universe, the universe passes through us.... So everything we see happening in the world around us is happening inside each and every one of us... Hence why old wise men spoke of being the change you wish to see in the world, for being that change, creates that change within us... Much like John Lennon said "We all shine on." We each have our own special role to play in what is going on, we each have our part in this story... As I stated before, I can't tell another person what their role is, it's up to that person to find it for themselves...

     It is not important to me that others agree with me, in fact if anyone did just agree with me without having looked into things for themselves they wouldn't truely be learning anything... I prefer to agree to disagree with those who disagree, and I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to get along...
