"Space Whale Aesop" is apparently supposed to be that there's a lesson being taught, and that failure to follow said lesson will result in a highly unlikely problem. It came from Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, because the moral was allegedly "Don't kill the humpback whales or an alien probe is going to kill all of us."It's stupid because I'm pretty darn sure Star Trek IV wasn't even trying to have a message outside of "Spock is hilarious when he swears."
