would you use mugen warehouse if you had no other choice?

you go onto mugen site request character no one has it,

go the the creators site & link is down for over 1 week or more so give up stop checking back every so often, or the creators site has been permantly deleted

esnips.com i consider mugen warehouse does not have it ask someone,

youtube who has it but will not send it to you ( kinda like a whearhouse sometimes i see some members hosting there uploaded fighters on esnips, 4shrae, megaupload, rapidshare that they did not create so others can download them ) screenpacks, chracters, stages and all

you find mugen waerhouse that does character your looking but the all of the above does not have it & the link is working so you can download that fighter do or do not downlaod

that is my question would go to mugen wearhouse & use it if its chracter you really wanted to get or try when its 100 complete & you know its against mugen creators policy to do so but you have no choice since there site has been permanlty delted, or link to that character, stage has been down or expierd for over week & no sign of it being reuploaded to another hosting site so it can be downloaded

The only time I used a "warehouse" (although I think "old character distributor" fits better, it's too long) was to download a character for a vid, although I ended up deleting it later because it was terrible.

I generally don't download other peoples stuff from warehouses. Not out of being "good", moreso because if a warehouse was the only place to get a character, then it probably isn't that good.

And why do people think Esnips is a mugen warehouse? There's a difference between "warehouse" and "used for warehousing".

To vyx, MFG is a warehouse, because the mods authorized a creator to post a link to his website to release a screenpack he had done himself using the BrokenMugen engine. Irony at its finest ! :D

If mugen creations were like bananas and were sold at stores, or gotten from the source, its more convenient to get them from the store, but getting em from the source makes em that much fresher, and if the source has been lost due to deforesting efforts by geocities, then there will be even less of a supply of ba-mugen creations

vyx uses the word warhorse tho.
He also once claimed he would warehouse all of pots chars until we met his demands, assuming the name "mugenguild HD" while he was doing it.

that and threatening to use his company lawyers on us for reducing his free speech.

Oh you missed that one. I used his avatar as mine for about a week. It was when his last multiple, yet sounding exactly the same, personality's posted.

So I used his avatar. I come home and written over the avatar is, "This avatar was stolen from BrokenMugen HD" So I used the back button to find a clean version. I copied it and uploaded it to my Photobucket account. A week later it was removed for copyright infringement. Because photobucket is to stupid to see that he was not the artist. I posted about it, but others said I should just leave him alone.

It might have been fun to fuck with him some more, but I figured that if was able to win something, or should I say anything. Maybe he would stop obsessing about the guild and move on.

So far it has worked. If he shows up though, bring on the 4chan.  ;D

Also I check the original site, then googled warehouses, then request section when I want something.  And I generally don't want it enough to reach the last step.

Most "rare" characters that can't be found on any websites other then warehouses usually suck ass. As for stages, there are many that I would download off of warehouses or esnips if I could not find them due to the fact that unlike characters, stages seem to be harder to truly fuck up. I mean, there are more shitty characters out there then there are shitty stages.

For example, creator Jin Kazama did nearly perfect versions of every Darkstalkers and Nightwarriors stage quite a few years ago..and for some reason I did not download then before he closed his website. Therefore, I am searching throughout such warehouses. D:


I look at it the same way I look at pirating. There are certain video games or movies that I would love to buy if I had the money and was able to find them in stores, but sometimes downloading them illegally is just that much easier. It doesn't mean we don't care for the creators of the content, it is just the best way sometimes.

Actually NeoGouki did just that and they're still available for download! And yes I've checked, the accuracy in his stuff is on the fine line of "awesome" and "holy shit you scare me"

But unfortunately he only really has Vampire Savior stages.  ;P

If it's not on the creator's site I just request it. If that doesn't work I basically stop caring so no I don't use warehouses or whatever.

Because the esnips website now givese me too much spyware and viruses on my computer. I used to use Esnips to get characters like HR Goku 5 but there were so many popups and esnips taking to different sites that I decided to give up on it.

Esnips technicly is not a warehouse.Its a war horse *INB4DSHIZ*.Haha JK. But still its not really a warehouse and also people upload their own creations like bigshowofall does with his creations.
