What are your guy's BGM Preferences?

Do you like techno like the stage BGM in Super Cosplay War Ultra?

or

You guys put J-pop or Heavy metal in stages that seem fit.

Post up songs you would put into your BGM for your stages and label it if its techno, j-pop, rock and etc...

of course keep in mind that I am in need of music to put into my BGM for my stages.

Well i add music because it gives the stage a certain atmosphere and adds on to the gaming experience. Dude, like i can turn on my media player 2 and listen to a bunch of songs but when your on a certain stage and the music is going, its gets u hyped up and you rock God Akuma for the very first time.

I use a lot of the music from Ragnarok Online, Ragnarok Offline, and Seal Online =) oh and that one battle theme from Shingetsutan Tsukihime in Ep 11 was awesome. Some Final Fantasy Battle music is nice too  ;D That's what consists of most of my music anyways including some random battle music from animes I happen to watch.

No music at all. When I make vids, I add the music in manually. Also shouldn't this be in Mugen Discussion?

Well if you're looking for techno or anything else related, and unsure where to get tracks, just head over the newgrounds audio portal. Great place for free music that matches in stages anyways.

I'll second that. Almost all my MUGEN stage music came from Newgrounds. Considering I have over 200 stages, with each piece of music needing to reflect on the stage somewhat, Newgrounds had just about everything I needed. Techno, metal, game remixes, orchestra...

Couldn't have done it without ya, NG.

  • Sucks to your Numerology!
Depends.  Sometimes I use original game themes or arrangements, other times it's just whatever I feel works/sounds right/fits.

Now you can never unsee it.

  • Three times thicker font than a normal user.
I use whatever works. Mostly game music, though. Aside from that, some rap. At least, no new mainstream stuff.

Krump music. J-Squad - Hall of Fame Anthem is the best one. Plus they are all instrumentals so its good for alot of stages. BUt i must say that EXSHADOW does include some good BGMs in the stages he makes.

I have a seperate song for each stage. Generally if a stage comes with its own music, that music usually suits it, and I use that. Games I've played a lot of times through, like FFVII, that I get stages from must have their original music, so I put that in. Stages that don't come with music I'll generally find a song in my existing collection to suit it. Most often it is heavy metal -- Dragonlord, Artillery, Anthem (Jpn), Warlock, Testament, and Saviour Machine all have multiple songs on multiple stages that I can think of. If it's a candlelit place, or a place with waterfalls, I'll generally shoot for something softer in the vein of Loreena McKennit or non-rocky Days of the New.
