No I'm not asking when will it go online or any of the sort.I was just wondering what you guys think of a Mugen with the ability to play online.Do you think there should be an online feature? Or do you think there shouldn't?
ξ Bastard said, May 16, 2011, 05:34:32 amOnly for full games.Agreed.I was thinking that if online was for regular mugen, you'd be fighting other people using cheap chars. But a full game could probably work.
i think a clientside sorta deal would work as i did with a few friends and infinitycat (y'know, giving them the exact roster/setup and whatnot)thing is, there would need to be an online that doesn't desync every 5 fucking seconds, such as infinitycat

but it would be nice to test a character with real opponent as not every vs match is a championship, although full game give balance, but as long both systems have both characters that are going to be used, it doesn't have to be a full game only.
As long as it has the same characters and the same stages from especific authors in other words like some other people just said... (a fullgame)...
Online Mugen is already possible. It's called Ikemen. But in order for it to work both players must have the exact same roster.

I think all you need to do is get on hamachi or tunngle, input your opponent's IP on the netplay system and you should be good. A couple of my friends say they got it to work.
well i'll have to try that again sometime i s'pose....doing that didn't work but there's been so many versions

It would be nice for something like CvSW and stuff, but yeah, other than that, it wouldn't work out too well.Although i'm interested in Ikemen now.
