This screenpack is a long time coming. I've had several distractions mixed in with a huge case of design fatigue and burnout but i'm going to try to work my way out of that.
This project started off as an HD Remake of Fido's MUGEN MegaMix screenpack. I then ended up mixing in parts of my "Project 84" concept to give it an 80s aesthetic and basically ran from there. This screenpack is barely recognizable as a Remake, so I decided to call it a "Remix".
This screenpack does not require custom ports.
This screenpack has 400+ slots. I'm too lazy to count, you do it.
What I've done: - Lotsa Slots - Rockin' 80s aesthetic
What I haven't done: - Proper Victory Screen - Continue Screen

==What is this? This is a screenpack made for MUGEN 1.1. A large-capacity screenpack inspired by two things; the glorious 80s and MUGEN Megamix by Fido. ==Why did you make this? It's complicated. ==How did you make this? I generally mock things up in photoshop before translating it over to MUGEN. I've used the default MUGEN screenpack as a base, then transplanted things off my mockups straight into the sff using Fighter Factory 3. ==Why MUGEN 1.1? Even though MUGEN 1.1 is only in Beta, the inclusion of 32-bit png support really caught my eye. I can't understand color restricted formats, so the option to completely ignore them is great. This is probably why I'll never bother making a character. ==Will you po- No. ==How about more character sl- No. ==Less character sl- No. You're free to make any modifications. PM me on mugenguild if you'd like psds or something.
==Can I use code/graphics? Go ahead. There's nothing really groundbreaking in these files. Let me know if you intend to distribute anything, just so I can check it out. XD......actually i spoke too soon....this is giving me the same problems as legacy. hmmmm, i dunno why its showing me a black screen....i tried all video renders, no luck. its weird because can play interactive mugen just fine and thats 1.1. UGH! this SP looks so sexy...i just wanna try it already!!!!

I feel guilty man, this SP packs a ton of anims. It's takes my computer around 10 seconds to load it up. I doubt my future SPs will be this resource-heavy.

i don't like having a lot of slots,but that's just me,the SP on the other hand i don't like it... I FREAKING LOVE IT!!! Dude this reminds me of far cry 3 blood dragon because of the 80's feel! Great job as always dude.

Really cool screenpack and great for retro characters. Is there a way to hide unused slots so the empty squares aren't showing? It just makes things look a lot less packed and is good for grouping characters together on the character select screen. Thanks

great screenpack and looks awesome. The lifebars are great but i just wondered if there is a way to remove the player portraits on the lifebars ? because they are too big and look very pixelated compared to the HD slick lifebars. I had a look in the fight.def but i couldn't suss it out

Hey I dunno if anyone still cares, but I got bored and tweaked the screen pack a bit.
~ Reduced roster size from 500+ to about... 106? ~ Changed char portrait on the life bars due to the frame of the portraits being on top of the fighters. ~ increased fighter name font size and relocated accordingly.
