Hey, buddy! Yes, you! I'm talking to you, future character contributor!

Are you almost finished with your character, but need just one or two small animations to REALLY make it shine? Would those animations make your character truly awesome, but you can't afford to commission them? Heck, are they actually critical to your character's gameplay?

Well, I've got the (potential) solution for you!

It's the... SPRITESHEET EXPANSION REQUEST THREAD ADDENDUM - REQUEST THREAD TEST RUN!! The only "anything" in the world with a name long enough to make Capcom's game namers blush!

Think of this scenario:
Coder: "Boy, I'm almost done coding this UMvC3 Wolverine! Other than the slightly different costume from the 2D sprites, he's totally source accurate! If only I had 2D sprites for that one new move they gave him in UMvC3, "Berserker Rage"... that would truly make this the real deal! Too bad I'm poor and can't commission it!"

Now imagine this:
Sprite Artist: "Wow, a source-accurate MvC3 Wolverine! I'd love to download that someday! You say you're only missing that ONE animation? Heck, I'm pretty good at making CPS2 sprites! If that's all you need, I'd be happy to contribute that! Here you go!"

Result:
MUGEN Community: Yay! The day is saved!

Think that's too far-fetched? Well, go dive under Hulk's Gamma Crush, Negative Nancy! We're looking for people that want to make a difference!

What do you need to have before requesting an animation?
1. Evidence that you're actually working on a character and have made significant progress. This evidence can be a beta version, a youtube video, or an outstanding reputation for completing projects.
2. A clear description of the animations you need and how these will contribute to the completion of the character (except where obvious).

What do you need to do to fulfill a request?
1. Post a message in this thread indicating that you'll take care of it, so we don't have multiple people working on the same thing for no reason!
2. If you're planning to charge for that animation, PM the person that requested it to see if they're interested, don't post that in this thread. This thread is for freebies only!

Other important information:
- All requests will be added to the second post in this thread so contributors don't have to be scrolling through multiple pages just to find something they can help with (assuming this project is a success and ends up being several pages long, of course)
- Any animation submitted in this thread will immediately be posted in the Spritesheet Expansion Thread (you're getting it for free, so don't expect it to be closed-source).

Dragon Kid: Don't worry about the misunderstanding, it happens. Regarding your request, I understand you have a project thread, but other than a few screenshots, there's nothing that tells us how much progress you've made on Ryu and Ken... the idea is that you come close to finishing the characters with everything else, then ask for those moves when you're done with that.

I have considered updating my Enya Gail and Kameo with proper crouching/crouching attacks/standing attacks/throws.  If anyone has any good ideas for these and wants to edit them, I'd be more than happy to see what people come up with.  Probably doesn't help that their sprites were originally ripped by me in the wrong resolution.  Maybe a broken toilet anim as well for the Justice super?

That should be good enough if the video demonstrates good progress on the coding side (gameplay, CLSNs, etc...). Just remember rule 2:

2. A clear description of the animations you need and how these will contribute to the completion of the character (except where obvious).

It should be clear that this is not just 1 or 2 animations out of a DOZEN that you need to finish your project, but 1 o 2 that are left to fully complete the project (of course, if you decide to do some revisions in the future, that's fine).

If you already have this stuff in your own Project thread, you can just link to it when making your request. You don't have to post the video in this thread if you don't need to. I'll also act as good advertising if you haven't received a lot of attention on your project.

Well, I plan on using this topic when the new animations are the only things left to finish the character (disregarding the ai).

You don't have to wait THAT much... just show enough progress to make it clear that people's submissions aren't just going to end up in the garbage.


EDIT: Just to prove I'm not one of those people that love to contribute ideas, but doesn't actually contribute work, I'm officially volunteering to draw the first request! I will be working on those Fei Long running sprites to the best of my abilities!

If you don't think people can get that from one of the pics in your thread, then yeah, post one here and I'll add it in your section.
Regarding the link, I already do that by default whenever there's a project thread in this forum. It helps people know that there's progress on the project. :)


Regarding those Fei Long sprites... I'm done with the lineart but boy... that SFA3 shading for Fei Long is RIDICULOUS... I'll post the second finished frame when I'm done with it...

There are a few things that could be changed still, but it's a great effort man!

The most glaring issue is the hands. You could use one of SNK's characters animations, to see how they could be open, and not necessarily bend inside, towards the body. drawing that would have been easier than what you did :P

Yeah, the arms in general don't move too smoothly... I wanted to give them a wide arch, but I also wanted to make sure the animation had a CVS-framecount (6), just in case that's what ViolinKen was going for. I just tried to settle for something close to SFA.

Again... if you guys look at any of the previous sprites I submitted, you'll see most of them are unfinished/uncolored... I need someone to teach me how to do this... tutorials help, but not enough. A lot of them assume that I have way too much intuition, which I don't. :D

Hello guys!!! Hope all of you are fine! So few tie ago i made an edit of Human`s/Chuchoryu`s seth. I added few sprites like run, but this char still missing two animations; the second hit of Shoryuken and the spinning hit of EX Shoryuken. I tried make theese animations but my sprite skills are very limited and the result was terrible!

Not mine, and... no, not really. There's a few frames where everything above his left knee rotates and the lower half of that leg is completely still. It needs tons and tons of work.

Well, let me give this a try... Because Xenomic won't leave me alone about adding MBs/Shocked to my chars that don't have them...(just teasing Xeno :P) I'd like to request a MB for Sagat, using his SvC one. I need it converted to his CvS/Alpha sprites, with it's look and shading/scale. Here's how it looks for anyone who doesn't know...

I have all six frames, though only 2 is actually needed. If anyone would like to convert all six, that would be cool, but it isn't needed. I can work with just the standing pose and held up pose. Here are the sprites...

My Sagat is CS'd and I included his CS template with him. That can be used to help with adapting the sprites to his pal scheme. However, that not really a big issue either. Because I'm sure I can have someone help out with adapting the sprites to his pal scheme. Namely Froz... >_< All that's needed is to convert/scale them to CvS-ish(Alpha-like really in Sagat's case... it's sorta a hybrid).  One more note, I did use Sagat's CvS sprites, which are scaled by default, not through code. Please keep that in mind.

If you use some feet from the CVS shoto-sets, and remove some wrinkles/muscle lines from the arms, you'll definitely be closer to the result you desire.

Come on, I don't mean the sprites (which obviously need a fix) but the animation itself. As it stands right now, it needs to be converted into CVS, to look less SF3-exaggerated.

Also, just by looking at the animation I don't even understand what Sean is supposed to be doing. Is it a POKE kick? Is it a SWEEP? If it's a standing sweep, doesn't Ken have one that looks very close to that?

Hey Graphicus, I thought that you would like to know that someone did the needed animation for the Hyper Chain Drive, which Quickfist requested for his K':

Some frames added to make it look more smooth. Also some minor fixes were made. Still not perfect though....
As you can see, the volunteer's name is sabockee, and Quickfist already gave his blessings to this animation.
Oh, and @Jmorphman: SeanAltly volunteered to do the Nanase animation you wished, and it looks damn good.

That doesn't look that good.  It's jerky and missing frames, K' doesn't raise his whole arm, timing is wrong, he clutches his arm when he isn't supposed to...

The anim is not finished yet, sabockee is still working on it I believe

Not sure if this fits here...

Long story short... I thought I would have the time to remake Ryo's CVS stance, a mix between both CVS and XIII. Judas (http://mugenguild.com/forum/profile/judas-546) beat me to it, did an amazing job making an alt XIII version.

I still wanted to make my version at this point so I chopped up Judas' sprites and used them in parts of mine.

I will not be able to finish these sprites anytime soon! Anyone who would like to use what I have so far or finish these up you are very welcomed to do so.

Anyone interested in fulfilling a request should indicate it in the thread before they actually start working on it (this is so we don't have more than one person working on the same submission for no reason).

If no one has indicated that they're doing it, then it would imply that unfortunately no one has taken on your request yet. :(

You should mention your request in your own project thread if you haven't yet. Might help it get more visibility.

You need something that shows that what you request will actually be put to good use if it is fulfilled. Ideally on something that's already at least 90% complete. Maybe it's easier if I show you examples of requests that aren't valid:

1. "I'm thinking of working on a new version of Zangief character but I really want him to have this one move that there are no sprites for. If someone sprites that move I promise I'll start working on the character!"

The above doesn't work because the person hasn't even done anything yet with the character. For all we know, he'll give up halfway or something or never get started.

2. "I'm working on this project, but I only have 50% of the sprites. I'd like to ask for this first (then I'll worry about the rest)"

The above doesn't work because the idea of this thread is to supply one or two missing animations, not half the sheet. And even if you weren't asking for the remaining half here, it would still mean that whatever effort the submitter maker may end up being wasted, since there's no way to tell when that other 50% will appear.

Well, it's hard to tell about the completition of the character, but I am working on Togetic, who will appear in Ryon's Fullgame "Project Catch'em All".
I have already fully coded the intro, two attacks and the first version of the third attack, and I have almost fully coded the winpose (there is only one bug left), thus making him around 70% complete.
The only thing missing is the second version of the third attack, which only needs around 2 sprites+transition sprites, and the fourth attack, which I rather don't want to think about (since it is Metronome). However, I am currently only asking for sprites for the second version of the third attack, while I try to somehow make some of the needed sprites for Metronome myself (I will try to do this by franken-spriting and limb-spriting).
What I basically need is an animation of Togetic charging up (like if he would do a CvSish Power Charge) and an animation of Togetic doing a tackle, since I am trying to replicate the anime version of the Pokemon attack "Facade".
the most important things:
1. No new shades, please. Just work with the amount of shades already given by the original sprite.
2. Please seperate the sprites in limbs as well, so I could reuse some of the limbs for future animations.
For those, who wonder about the sprite style: It has to be JoshR's style of drawing.

What do you think? Is that enough?

Well, we obviously cannot take the anime for animation references there, since the only two Pokemon in the anime, which performed Facade, were Milotic, who didn't had any arms or feet, and Zebstrika, who was standing on 4 feet. So yeah, I guess the best idea is to use other FG characters as a base...

I understand, but this is an "expansion" thread. That means the sheet is practically finished/complete, except for one specific move that doesn't exist but you still want to add.

You can look at the Fei Long example. He had everything already except for a run move since there was no such move in SFA3. The sheet was complete, in a way... the Run animation is "expanding" the sheet so it can be used to incorporate the character into other play styles where characters need to be able to run.

Other examples can be found in the original Spritesheet Expansion thread. None of those animations are absolutely critical. They're just there to expand what can be done with the character and its available sprites.

Let me explain you more about this request, especially for those ones who doesn't know about it: I found this sprite above on the net and I used to make this character as the first Doctor Who char for MUGEN, first as an idea, later as a April's Fools release ("Rose a la POTS beta" in disguise (http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/bkun-la-pots-rose-public-beta-1-released-158499.0.html)) and finally confirm it as a proper WIP character, even releasing a beta, which it's basically the AF char without the Rose references. Well, I would like to make the sprites move as in DW series, since the one posted is the only one I could get, but I can't to make good edits for him, so I request your help for this task.

I don't mean to get your hopes down or sound rude, but if you only have one sprite, then you don't have a sheet. "Spritesheet expansion" means that you have a full sheet to work with and simply want to add one or two new moves to it (e.g.: A running animation that was missing, a new special/super move that doesn't appear until a later game or doesn't appear in the same series the sheet belongs to, etc...).

This is not the ideal thread to ask someone to create the whole sheet for you, regardless of how much work may actually be involved.

Daleks have very minimalist animations. The head rotating, the eye (plunger-like thing on the head) moving up and down, and the cannon and plunger on the arms moving up and down a bit are the only animations they can have. If there was a full sheet, it would only be that, and there would be no need for this request. So... Technically, this one sprite is pretty much the whole sprite sheet, except for those particular animations, which are mostly to make it look more alive.

He's right, it's not necessary to make a lot of sprites since Daleks don't move a lot, for those moves there're needed like 2-3 sprites per anim and nothing more than that, all the other basics are already done in Dalek beta, so what I need are some basic moves I can't do because of my limited spriting skills, so that's why I asked about this here. See the videos for a better idea, maybe you haven't see them yet ;)

I have a request. I would like someone to make an SF2-style edit of Akuma's F+MP overhead chop from the SF Alpha series for use in my Akuma's (http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/ssf2t-akuma-felineki-updated-5272014-custom-mode-added-157176.0.html) Custom mode.

SF2 Ryu F+MP

As you can see, the first three frames of the chop animation correspond to Ryu's overhead punch, which already exists in SF2. Those frames will just need to have the head replaced, the torn sleeves and pants, sandals, and beads added, and the arm repositioned. The final two frames will need to be be heavily edited/made from scratch. Although the last frame of the SF2 Ryu overhead punch should come in handy as reference since the pose isn't all that different.

My Akuma has his full SF2 sprite set for reference.

@felineki: I found out that MASA's Gouki has something similar to what you're requesting.
He doesn't have the hand opened like in SFA (it's like Ryu's attack, but with edited head and pants), but you could use that as placeholder. I might try to fulfill your request. It's not a promise though.

I was always kind of reluctant to ask, but I'm in a bit of a bind with my current character. The original artists did "something" very wrong to NZC Kakashi's sprites. I need most of his basic moves just redone, so they look like natural moves. I am doing some of them myself, but I'm a horrible spriter, so it's not really that great looking.

Here's the monstrosity:

. I know most of these are CvS or SF-styled, but I was wondering if anyone could help out at all. Keep in mind that the character has already been released to the public here. He's just getting a revamp for my game: NZCR.

On that sheet, he's got mirrored sprites for facing the two directions. I would only need one side done, the right one. The first and second punches on his Attack Combo (Right) look awful. They need to be redone to look um... right? The same goes for his Air Combo (Right). It's like the same exact thing. Those first two punches are not right. Who does that? Strong Attack (Right) is the last one that needs fixing. This could be replaced with anything more natural than that.

As I continue retouching Huitzil's sprites, I've come to his unused Darkstalkers 1 laser super. It has some associated effects that I'd like someone to expand upon a bit. Specifically an outward crackling burst of electricity as the gun-arm opens, and a dual-ripple-shaped shockwave that appears as the gun fires. Each of these two effects only has one frame in the existing data (since it's seemingly unfinished, they might have added more had they actually implemented it). Anyway, I'd like someone to attempt to make additional frames for these. I've provided this image that illustrates the kind of animation I have in mind:

I don't think more than 3-4 frames total is needed for each of the two effects, so 2-3 additional frames each should suffice. The ring shockwave should expand outward and dissipate, pretty straightforward. You probably could add one frame before the existing frame, then make two more frames for after it. Probably shouldn't expand out much more than my sketch shows. You can draw the whole rings, (maybe even fill in the gap in the existing frame, as it doesn't quite fit around the arm as-is), I'll cut out whatever's necessary to make it look like they're going around the arm.The electricity around the gun-arm should crackle outwards and dissipate (think arcs reaching the top of a Jacob's Ladder). For this one, I actually wouldn't mind if you sprited something from scratch and didn't use the existing frame (as it's kind of rough), but it should follow that general look, and probably not expand out any further than it..

I'd say the major issue with the top two are the faces. They differ too much from CVS's style. I'd suggest frankenspriting a CVS face onto it, then modify it if it doesn't look right.

Well there are two things wrong with this:

- This thread isn't really the right place for it, this is more geared towards ppl who have projects in the making. Unless that Donatello is geared for a MUGEN project, you should post a video of it here to prove it.

-When I download it, it appears as a JPEG, which apparently won't open in Photoshop CS6. Could you try reuploading it as a GIF?

Spriter pro. It was 10 bucks on humblebundle last month . Takes a while to figure it out. Im still getting the hang of it for pixel art. But for quick mock ups cant beat it.i usually i import to gimp and clean it up afterwards. This one i didnt tweak in gimp

Yes, it's Ryu's SF5 jumping HK. Don't you think it lacks some dynamics? Maybe I should tweak a bit Ryu's headband in the moment of impact. Is there anything more I can do to make it look more powerful?

If this is supposed to be a heavy hit, shouldn't the flap of the gi and headband strands go up the moment of impact rather than the beginning????

At the beginning of the move Ryu is falling down that's why gi flap and headband is up. Although it goes down to soon I suppose. It should fall down AFTER the impact. Thanks for putting me on the right track Hatter.

Look, as an animation it looks gorgeous, and I wouldn't criticize it because I think it's visually pleasing :nice:

From a usefulness standpoint, I would tell you that there's no point during the entirety of the animation for the headband to fall to gravity, as all throughout Ryu is falling. The band should only be affected by gravity once Ryu touches the ground :P

Looks good, I'm comparing it to the hitbox sheet I have
And it matches it pretty close, only difference is the headband
Falls up during the descent in sfv, other than that its a perfect
2D conversion

His sprites are actually cps2 still. Dhalsim was one of many that got skimpped on. That look more compatible, though keep the cps2 thing in mind.

The thing is, though, even those sprites are in the CPS2 scale. I don't recall if Dhalsim was one of the manually rescaled characters, but I doubt it. The scales need to match or it will look fucked up in-game.

I need a little bit of help with Batsu here for my full game. It looks like he could use 3
extra sprites, 1 in his crouching M punch start up, and 1 in his standing M punch start up
so they animate a bit smoother, and the 3rd sprite of him recovering from his crouching M punch.
Any help is appreciated!

In future, when i ask for a spritesheet for reference, if the rules of the forum allow it, a link to the source or to creator's page, would be more useful to both, than just the name and the author. I apologize in advance if it was already in the thread and i skipped it, but if there aren't reason not to provide the source i'll work much faster, if i don't have to search for the material i need.

Of course everyone of us knows a couple hundreds spritesheets pixel by pixel, but looking for, idk Pippo by Don155 can be time-consuming.

As said above, i'm not complaining or whining, i'm just thinking about how to make the workflow quicker.

Can you provide the SFF file? I can do walking animation, but if i don't know how the character is supposed to move and what's their overall body language i can't do a proper animation

Currently on the fast track to crankin as much utility out of these sprites at the moment. Most of the ground work is there, utilises current Explod Buffering as well as unveiled  Hyper Dragon Ball Z 5.0 changes (hold to tech, wider throw tech window, disabled blocking on jump in, etc) hilariously, there was a stop walking anim in the Buu Z2i i got the sprites from, but it never used it. Added that in :p

If you could convert the colors to this template for Lilith, that'd save me a step and would be much appreciated. Though not entirely necessary though. Morrigan and Lilith pretty much have the same CS. Aside from Lilith's arm sleeves things only have 2 color shades, where as Morrigan's has 4. I used different colors, but the base amount is pretty much shared.

I edited the light source on the legs to be more in line with actual CvS light source, as you can see in my reference in this spoiler:

I also edited the vest, but on second thought, maybe try to take his Rhythmness' top portion from his first attempt and my legs and put em together, and it should be byotiful. Up to you.

I actually think the shading on the legs was better before.
Sure, the leg on the viewer's left could be darkened, but the leg on the viewer's right looks okay in Rhythmness's sprite since it's a bit bent forward (it should receive light until it gets to the knee); Hatter, the reference you used has Yuri pulling his back backwards and the legs are straight but going back... I don't know if that makes perfect sense or I explained myself well.

I agree. Yuri is leaning forward, so the light source would be blocked by her torso on her front thighs. However, Lilith is standing straight up/actually leaning back a bit, with her legs slightly out in front. So, light should be on her legs where Rythmical has them. Also, detail seems to be loss in Hatter's edit. The cargo pants pocket looks off, among other details/creases in the front. I suppose that's due to the darker shading.

Attempt #2 (if that's right. I can't remember how many times I requested this). I'm working on my own version of Bardock, and I got 2 supers with a lot specials put in (I'm thinking about making 1 more super and a few more normals), but Bardock is lacking a lot of normal attacks. I'm using his Extreme Butoden sprites, which lack the normals I want for Bardock to be a 6 button character. I wish I could show you, but I'm a little scared to record something on the computer I'm using

I want a light punch, a light kick, a crouching hard punch, crouching kicks, light and medium mid air punches, and medium & hard kicks. Surprise me with them.

This is just for starters. We'll see where things go from here.

I actually do have a W.I.P thread, but streamable probably got rid of my videos, so my recent post in that thread is useless.

I will try to post screenshots as best as I remotely could. Although it's gonna be a major pain in the ass because I'm using a keyboard the play MUGEN. I only shared the .sff and .act files just for good measure.

Edit: On second thought, this is harder than I thought. The F number keys are mixed with the brightness, volume, and airplane mode.

Edit 2: Well, the keyboard I'm using is a standard layout keyboard. This is gonna be weird.

Edit 3: Okay, so I decided to go yolo and give it a shot, and to my surprise it recorded the footage quite well. I did as much as I could to show everything since I'm using a keyboard, so I obviously missed some stuff.

Guys - I'm pretty sure someone made a CVS Palette for that XIII Terry set.

If you applied the proper simplified palette before resizing, you'd already have basically 85% of the sprite done.

Actually, i think NDSSilva's Smash Bros style Ryu has a jumping kick like that as his dash attack.
That could be used as a good base for a Ken version.

Edit: There's something I completely spaced out.

I generally have some mixed feelings with Mwryly's version of Akuma's crouching kick. It looks like a rescale with very simple touch ups. But it could be just me.

Also, I found the kick. Now I have to ask Silva if it's okay.

Hi all,

I am completing a large project where I am taking characters from the Street Fighter series across all platforms and converting them to the original arcade Street Fighter 2 sprite style.  I’m currently looking for help with animation and coding, and this would all be paid work, of course. Here are a few areas of work for anyone interested:

Animations. I have already completed the idle stance for many of the characters, and each one needs about 100 animation frames-ish that don't necessarily need to be drawn from the ground up, as you'll be able to borrow from their graphics in other games and resize/reshade.  I have a few artists already, but am looking to add more. I have attached a few of the idle anims to this post.

Portraits.  I haven’t done any of these yet, but I’ll eventually need a SFII-styled portrait for each character.

Coding.  I have two coders but am looking to add more.  Really, anyone familiar with the SF series and with solid MUGEN experience would be good.

I'm responding to a question from one of the members here since I haven't racked up enough posts to respond to PMs yet! The poster asked the following questions, and I'll provide quick answers!

* How many guests will be present? Or was Terry just added for fun?    --I am basically including characters from any SF game, including the Vs series (except for any superheroes).  I've got Terri, Higashi, Raiden, King, and Hwoarang for now, but would love to add more.
* Releasing guides on how to do SF2 style, using these and the official sprites alike, would be able to get many others to join the project.  --A great idea of course, and one I would like to have help with.
* Will the portraits part also include SF2/CE styled portraits for the New Challengers and Akuma? "  --It can, though not a first priority. I can tailor the Super SSF portraits a bit if needed.

This thread is not for requesting entirely new spritesheets. It's for adding one or two animations to an existing spritesheet and bring new life to it (for example, add an extra move that would allow for a different version of the character to be made).

It's also not for paid work. This is where people can say "Hey, I'll release this character and you'll all get to enjoy it, so please help me with just this one little animation. Here's proof that my character is almost done so that you know you're not wasting your time".

The screen shot wasn't intentional. I think what happened was I was trying to adjust the video in OBS to make it fit with everything, and I accidentally hit the screenshot button in the process. I'll record a actual video tomorrow.

DeathScythe is correct, I want Ken’s SFA3 stance in CvS style.

Update: A recorded video is in the post. The progress isn't much, but the truth is I've been burned out from MUGEN coding for quite some time, so there.

The heads seem a bit too big. I think you were tricked by SFA proportions hehe. The viewer's left forearm could use a lighter outline too, and other polishes, but both animations are more than usable already.

I'm afraid to ask this, but... What if I can't really make significant progress on the character that I'm looking for custom anims for? Like, what if I have a small roadblock, but an early roadblock? In this case, it would be lack of usable anims for (most) normals and (most) gethits. (I could probably cobble together a stand heavy kick and standing/a few air gethits with the spritesheet I have.) The character has pretty much everything else I need for a full character. I just need these few things.

Hi, its my first time asking for something here, I've always try to do it for myself just to not bother anyone and improve, but I really can't manage to do this so I ask for this, I can even pay you if necesary.

I just need a running animation of Franco Bash from Real Bout. that's it. it doesn't need to be extremely fluid, just 6 sprites are enought for me.

If you're missing "most" normals and "most" gethits, then this isn't the ideal thread for that... it means you never had a full sheet in the first place. The point of this thread is to "expand" existing spritesheets, not "finish" them. I mean this in the nicest of ways.

It could be easier to edit existing sprites, these are some low effort edits I made just to show what I mean:
Dive kick rotated 30° to make it more vertical, of course needs a cleanup.

Yeah, thinking about the actual magnitude of what I was asking again it would be pretty bad to try and ask for all that without compensation anyway. I’ll be taking my ask to commissions instead.

I usually try not to do this sort of request, or at least I don't do this with these many animations, but I think this time is worth it.

I'm 4-5 animations away of a fully fledged Flameless/Claw Mode for Iori. Other spriters like Rabano and SeanAltly helped me out with the animations for 104 Shiki: Nueuchi, 401 Shiki: Shōgetsu, and the run part of 129 Shiki: Akegarasu, as you can see below:

These two animations are really cool as they would allow Iori to have his last Special Move and his signature command grab. However, I could indeed make Iori share his original Kuzukaze command grab and don't stress that much about it, since in that animation he doesn't use flames and it still serves the purpose of enabling a combo follow up (altho the ground bounce of Claw's Command grab let's him so extra juggles with Nueuchi).

This is Iori's exclusive command normal. I'd say this one has the lowest priority because altho significantly slower, Ge-Shiki: Gofun In "Shinigami" can fill the function of a command normal.

Decided to come back. That Ken stance is not bad per se. But the hands are incorrect. If anything, they're acting the same way as the Ryu stance.
