I'm working on an intro video for the Hyper Dragonball Z screenpack and want to know if anyone here would like to make either one of these intro scenes in Z2 style. I put multiple images for reference if you want to animate it, which would be super cool. Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyor this:Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
Ahem, so are you going to make them? Or are you asking someone to make them? Because if you're asking for something to be made, that's not cool (unless you pay the spriter with real money and that would equal to a commission).
It's just a request and I thought it'd be cool if some people here worked together with me on it. My art style contrasts way too much and it'd be extremely inappropriate and unfitting for me to do it when my skills aren't even close to what you guys are doing in this thread.
I'm pretty sure that a task that Herculean in effort isn't going to be done until much later in the development, since the priority is probably to, y'know, make sure the actual game plays well.
I've never done spriting or anything like this before so I tried my hand at doing this in Photoshop:I took a few sprites from the Vegeta char. to make him look like how he's posed in the show, matched the colours of his suit to match the colours on his arms to give him sleeves. I have no experience with this kind of thing so I hope it looks alright. His legs and feet need some touching up and his abdomen looks like he's on growth hormones lol. How big should I save this because I had to take a screenshot in order to upload that second pic. If anyone wants to edit this I can give them the psd. Herculean effort my butt

Additional graphic works like intros, openings, endings can be done later in the future. It's also hard to find someone that willing to make it for you. Unless, as I mentioned before, you involve money in the request.I, for one, can't do that because of time and stuff. On topic, normal size is fine.He got taller. The lower part is blurred. But you already know that. Just remember, the style likes to be squashed/large.
I used the Vegeta with the Saiyan armor that you and some other dude made and recoloured it with the vibrant colours on the normal Z2 Vegeta and took out a few things to make him match to what he wore from the Frieza saga to Cell Games. I just have no clue how to sprite or draw with tiny squares, because if I did he'd have the white straps/yellow square straps. Added sleeves for the entire first animation. Kind of forgot how to make an animated gif lol. I'll look back into that again later or something. I'm down with doing complete recolours of Vegeta so he has sleeves and straight white boots to make outfits based around what he wore in the series. I wouldn't mind adding in the scouter either for the Saiyan saga attire it's just I don't think it'd look good when you're on the right side of the screen. If anyone's down to help me I could probably knock out entire attires in less than a week since I got nothing better to do atm.

Invictusok said, September 13, 2014, 10:33:06 pmWasn't that done by another friend of us? (Oscar Mardones, I can't remember his nickname now)
Daeron made the sprite, the cloud was made by Capcom (MvC2, Sonson) and slightly recoloured by Daeron too (if I recall correctly). He wanted to make a scene, with Broly that says Kakarot when he sees him.I agree with Tetsuga Gensho/s0lixus, it looks more like "K4K4ROT!" than "KAKAROT!".

The uploaded gif is missing 1 frame and is sped up a little too fast, which is why it's kind of wonky. Reason why I made the gif was for this:http://www.gfycat.com/ElasticElderlyGazelle#
