This mini-console fad makes me scratch my head. I mean sure, if you want them as a collector's item that's fine, but as top sets they're overpriced and terrible right from the box. You'd be better off buying a retropie or even just an android tv box and a controller. At least that way you'd have fucking analogue sticks (wtf Sony?).

They go for $30 on amazon, and with a $20 8bitdo wireless adapter
you can use your DS4 or xbox 1 s controllers analog.
Its not true analog it emulates the dpad instead but it will be possible
by updating the controller plugin

This is the tut i followed to replace the internal games (tip, you dont need to rename everything by serial numbers)

Im definitely getting the new pi 4 GB ram version, the ps classic isnt too bad once
you hack it lol. Just updating the internal stock emulator to the one in the latest
retroarch for ps classic makes a big difference in performance.

For $30 you cant beat it and it comes with 2 controllers.

Hey guys whats up, so i bought a PlayStation classic right...its crap right out the box and i
knew it would be so i tried a couple of the hacks.

I tried bleemsync and autobleem from a usb in
port 2, and it was cool as hell.  Eventually i got the
otg update and then i had my usb in the back to
free up port 2.

I still wasn't happy with it because it still had all the
stock games in my game list and i wanted a better
option.  Did some research and found a way to
replace all 20 internal games AND update the pcsx
emulator core.

So now i have an awesome ps classic with my own
personal pick of the best 20 psx games and since i
updated the emulator i can access the emu menu
too all without using a usb drive. I will post my
Game list and links to the hacksI did so one of
you can try it as well.

Anybody here buy one, and do you use mods?

Xtreme master saturn hdmi cable



Just got this today, despite all the terrible reviews I got one anyway lol.
I tried it on my 60 inch Samsung lcd and it would randomly change the color
tint, the game would look normal and then a couple mins later the whole
picture would be covered in a greenish overlay or some shit for a couple
seconds then switch to normal.

The lag is worst than the infamous black scart to hdmi converter box from
 amazon(actually that box isn't that bad, only on racing games) Sega rally
is unplayable and fighters feel weird too.  With the amazon box I can tell
 there was lag playing SFA3, but the game was still playable and enjoyable.
With this cable I feel lag with everything I play even on the menu screens
unlike that amazon box.

I also tried it out on a cheap Sanyo 17 inch lcd I have, now on this mofo the
stupid cable wants to work almost flawlessly wtf?! It doesn't have the issues
It had on my samsung and the lag is alot lower than the box! Lag is almost
gone on SFA3 but now the cable has new issues on this tv, sides of the screen
are cut off and the color can be a little intense. I had to put the tv color setting
on 30% so it looks normal.

Its gonna be used just on the Sanyo for now on, I can ignore the screen cutting
off at the ends for the decreases in input lag, crt's always cut off ends anyway.

If you do manage to get the psp and softmod it let me know how it runs im interested

Bought an old school psx Game Shark v2.2 for $50
on Amazon and flashed it with Unirom v6 now I can
play my backups psuedo Saturn style!

Picked these up yesterday, despite the bad reviews on
the hyperkin HD cable for the og Xbox...its pretty darn good!
It blows composite away and that's good for me.

Time Crisis...nothing to say its a classic.

Thats really cool, now you can play the Time Crisis games on the PS2. Hopefully you still have an CRT TV around, because i heard those Guncons don't work on HD TVs.

I have a CRT but its crap, I have composite
cables and im looking for an old Sony Trinitron HD CRT
to game on, so far no luck.

They work with a hack but its too tedious for me to try.
