Title: DBZ Dream - Full Game Pack
Post by: stig87 on January 08, 2008, 06:59:27 pm
In the mugenlair forum it was suggested to me that i release a pack containing the full MugenDream game and just release patches to update the game when we update characters.

I have since compiled a package of all of the stages and bgms, and the screenpack.(All with permission!)

This package contains everything needed to experience the DBZ Dream, the way it's meant to be experienced.

Included in this pack

Winmugen
DBZ Budokai Battle Screenpack( with filled select.def)
All stages except for Choujins Armegeddon SFF.
All Mp3 Tracks for STage BGMs

You need to download the characters yourself. They aren't included because Choujin and I update too much to be included in a pack.
Every Character listed under Stage of: will already be added to the select.def. Unreleased characters are in the select.def but are edited out with a (;) semicolon. Simply remove the "randomselect;" portion of the line to add that character(when released).

Characters supported in this pack.
By Choujin:
Goku, SSJ Goku, Cell, Trunks, Dr. Gero, Piccolo, Android 16, Mr. Satan, Frieza, Vegeta

By Stig87:
Buu, Burter, SSJ Vegeta, Krillin, Anrdoid 18, SSJ Trunks

SSJ2 Gohan by K.O.D/Ninja Naruto

Characters added but commented out: Captain Ginyu, Recoom, Broly 557(must have his name changed to simply "Broly")

The game works as a standalone install. If you are experienced enough you can include this with your own winmugen without messing up your current setup. The chars will be put in the (chars/dbz) all of the stages and bgms will be put in your stages folder. The Screenpack will go into data/DBZ.
You would simply set your mugen.cfg to point the data/DBZ/system.def
Please back up your stuff before trying this as it won't be my fault if you mess up your current screenpack.

As Usual the download is available on my site(check the sig)
As I stated before.......I abolutely enourage you to make Youtube videos using this pack and the DBZ Dream characters. Post your vids in this thread. Ones I like in particular, can end up on the website

So it's basically a screenpack with stages and music?

Yes, with the select.def already set to pick up the characters.

This allows users to get the game set up exactly as I would want it to be played.
I found it not plausible to include characters in this because characters get updated very often.
Everything in this pack is rock solid and probably won't be changed for a while.

Anyone whose been following the project should already have all of this stuff in this pack.

I dunno I'll have to ask. But it usually takes choujin a really long time to reply.
