So while Obama was busy dealing with Osama and the rest of the country is still trying to bask in the afterglow, the House GOP (along with 16 anti-abortion Democrats) decided it was the perfect opportunity to pass a bill that basically blames women for being raped if they :

- Don't fight back.

- Are drugged.

- Are underage.

What it all essentially boils down to is the single greatest blow to women's rights in the history of our country, which is not too surprising considering the people who voted on it would gladly see a resurgence of an age when only old, white men could vote, hold good jobs, or have any amount of control over the country in general.

edit note #1 : this bill has no chance of passing the senate and if on the exceptionally small chance it does, obamarama has said he will use his almighty godhand to veto the shit out of it.

It is not a Law.... Yet.

It would still have to pass through the Senate (which is controlled by the democrats) and Obama himself said he will veto it.

But still, this is sick. Fuck you government.
