IDK, Nintendo’s been pretty good about keeping gross monetization out of their mobile games. Dragalia Lost is gatcha as gatcha can be but I’ve been able to wring a lot of playtime out of it without spending a dime.

Missed the news broadcast, saw the reveals individually on Facebook, so hopes raised on some new different type of Pokémon RPG akin to Mystery Dungeon focusing on the infamous trainers of the series lore and fleshing them out, and immediately dashed for cash-grab nonsense for phones. Joy of joys.At least the news on Pokémon Home allowed a sigh of relief. Something that caused me to eventually put down completing the Ultra games completely and start breeding for the best guys was knowledge in the back of my mind that the transition from the DS family of hardware finally to the new Switch console could possibly leave us with another gen 3 situation, forcing you to completely start over since nothing carried over. And while it was eventually for the best, I don't want to have to deal with that again. Looks like I won't have to. Good, getting a number of perfect shiny Pokemon took much more time than I care to admit.
