Which format do you prefer for the project to take?

Current format (aka do whatever character and then release packs after set amount of time)

Not bad honestly. Now, take a look at yours, then take a look at this and compare the differences. See if you can spot the things that need worked on on yours. Also, just a tip, but if you're going to do SF3 style, you don't need the yellow aura at all ^^







That'll help with the lower portion of the body some, and with the arms and torso. The head is a bit tougher, since I don't know of that many shocks that have the head in that position actually.

And yet another MB done, this one originally started by Pyomega about a year ago, but never finished. I only added one more sprite to it, so that it can be finished. This'll go for another Dizzy ^^

Yeah, expect first post to be updated with these......don't worry, more MBs to come. Right now, Sol is on hold as I'm currently trying to do these so as to lighten my load. If anyone wants to help lighten the load with me, feel free to attempt to do the draining animations for these, or fix them up, or whatever. You'll also get credit for your work, so keep that in mind. Getting closer to bringing this to an end methinks ^^;

Well, most of them will but either Tekkanon or Jnxc will have to do them, as I don't have the skills to pull that off.

And that be Tifa by Yamakachi btw.


As for your shock, it's looking better for sure. My suggestion is to look at hands and feet and try to fix those up next, then work on the skull. Getting there though, and it's looking good ^^:b


If you need more help, I have other sprites that I can show here (or you can take a look at the ones on the first page, those those are animations).


Also, after further inspection of your shock sprite, you forgot a couple "shock" parts to turn to black in the first shock sprite (what I mean by "shock" parts are the jagged parts. One being on the left foot (which is white) and the other on the right arm (which you can see is blue in the 2nd shock sprite). Might wanna fix those ^^;

Now that looks great ^^ I do believe you've got it down now. You want to try another character to see how you do on her now? (And if you want, I can add Yuri's shock to the project, credited to you, but up to you)

Well boys and gals, I just released my final Midnight Bliss and Shock pack, which you can find here on my site at http://xenomic.freehostia.com/pages/Downloads_Page.html, or here on this site. Why am I suddenly stopping? Well, several reasons:

1) I no longer have any interest in MUGEN. What interest I had was from this project, and since I have no motivation to work on something that I don't even play, no reason to continue.

2) I've been occupied by other things (job hunting, playing UNL, working on video walkthroughs, making a Touhou RPG).

Who knows? Maybe I'll come back someday and finish what I have left. Or maybe someone else will pick this project back up and dust it off to add more life to characters. But until that day, I won't be releasing anything new. You may still submit things here, and I might release them separately, but other than that, don't expect anything new until I get some motivation back.



Consider that pack my final gift to you all before I go. I bid you all a farewell, and wish you all luck in your future endeavors!

Well, thanks to Zorc who got me motivated with spriting slightly after taking my request for a shock sprite for Rera, I decided to try and do more for Mina's shock sprite (I know! I haven't done anything with that in forever!). This is the result of about 30 minutes worth of work:





Entire ribcage area done, and trying to work on that left arm (her right arm), but that elbow is getting to me >_<

If anyone wants to help on that little bit, that'd be great. I'm pretty sure I can do the rest myself, but it's just that elbow .V.


Who knows? Maybe I'll do some more MBs later now that I have SOME motivation back ^^;; Though now this makes me want to try another shock sprite (which may take months to finish too....).
