Here are the origins of the characters I can think of that they are converted from, including others not mentioned in this thread:

Lee-Chen - Shadow Fighter (from the creators of the Gekido series)
Chaoz - The Great Fighter
Santaurus - Mutant DNA
Chieshen & Wacker - Tough Guy
Dogma - Dragoon Might
SF3 Yang - Street Fighter III: 3RD Strike (duh)
Kenbo - ???
Nukesaku - ???
Tatsuo - ???
Miopinja - Fight 'N' Jokes (released only in Italy, but is available worldwide(?) for Mobile and will soon be released next year for Nintendo DS, both renamed as ToonFighterZ (pronounced "Toon Fighterz"))

My Mugen Wish List would include protagonists, mascots and other iconic characters with everything they have brought straight from their source with little or no editing.

welp i finally found video footage of 'universe heroes' or whatever. yes kenbo can be blamed because the game looks like shit. yes he reverse screams in the original game. yes he says 'whoopdee fucking doo' in the original game. why am i so surprised about this.

also i like how these characters come from sources so obscure the topic is pretty much about what they come from lol
