I believe that this is not a good thing to propose.

Make the criminals go hungry? They will just go back to jail to make sure they do not starve.

And I do think that jails cost a lot more to maintain than food stamp programs on a per person basis.

What I would support, however, are measures to make sure that people are not abusing food stamps like crazy.

if this'll happen i bet those ex-cons will be happier locked up in jail than deal with these stupid motherfuckers. they've paid for their crimes already we shouldn't degrade them anymore.
