I recall making a topic of this on another forum.
Personally, I don't agree with this, as it seems unfair towards the anime/manga fanbase in the UK.

You could argue the characters in anime/manga are of legal age or at least are intended to be, but there are some the sure as hell don't look it. And the fact that people jerk it to cartoons that look underage is at the least a little bit disturbing.
Should they imprisoned for it?

^This, a hundred times this. You look at anime now and all you see is these "so-called" 18 year olds with the body of a 12 year old girl. Its just gross and I try to avoid it at all costs.

I should note it also works in reverse.
I won't lie, I was devastated when I heard Rikku was supposed to be 15 years old. She doesn't look like she's supposed to be 15 though.
Thankfully we've got appropriate aged cos-players, so yay for that.

Wait a minute. Yoko was supposed to be 14 years old? I thought she was either 16 or 17 like almost all eager young bouncy anime chicks.
Kinda offtopic but once at 4chan in the loli section (when they had a loli section... don't ask me how I know) some guy posted Rei and Asuka pics calling everyone a pedo and that they should fap to "grown women". Little did he knew that Rei and Asuka are 14 years old.

I think the oldest gainax female lead is noriko at 16 , non humans not counting. I don't know what's up with deen and their pettanko adult bern, bern has big breasts as long as he gets to puberty, I know that's like a miracle, but miracles are her specialy. another good loli is eve from black cat, I think she is 3 or something (so, older than sechs from battle angel alita), but she ages very fast so she already looks 15 in the end of the manga.
