2D Fighting games forever!

I'll try to give some feedback.

-His forward roll has more range than backward roll. (i hope you unsderstand what i mean)
-He jumps pretty high for a normal weight char.
-His short jumps are kinda hard to perform.
-When you cast EX Hellion, he performs EX Shooting Star instead.

That's just what I got after a quick test, I hope its useful for you.

Well, Congratulations on the release. Rick is pretty nice.
But why are his afterimages so strange? Why are they BLUE on LVL1? Why PURPLE on LVL2?

Some of the things I see you did not change, but it’s fine. Howling Bull I see you changed the projectile trajectory, but now it’s super slow. Any reason for that? It should be instant, not because of source, but the move covers almost full screen and that would knock them, now it seems kinda useless as they would recover before that hit(if not used up close). Why not add a vacuum FX(Vanessa/Balrog have this)on that last bit of the level 3. His style would suggest he uses a screw. just a suggestion, good idea btw. Now get on that Franco.

I'll check that projectile out when I get home, about the white wolf fury, I already have the effect for the Gaia Press so I just decided not to add that and make it like he just straight up decks you with a powerful straight, plus I just as just mostly tryna go off of what the intro looked like, but thanks man, I really am at a impass of who I wanna do next after finish gabriella probably make a poll lol

Id really have to be in the mood to go back and edit nameless I feel I did a pretty good job on him the only thing I'll be changing is hittimes and grab commands same with heavy d with the grab command, my focus is on Gabriella for now though, we'll see what comes after that

I Find one litle error during the Tivaci Beatdown because of cpu vanish after the hit.

I really agree the blow gets more graphically cute, but it also gets weird when the character does not have the rotating animation. The characters who presented this error were: Tia Langray, Yuka Takeuchi for DivineWolf and all the original Melty Blood chars that were released for (CVS / POTS).

Great release! He is very solid. I have some feedback:
- Lv1 Gaia Press is invulnerability on start up but Lv2 Gaia Press is not.
- Lv1 Tivaci Beatdown can bypass a projectile but Lv2 Tivaci Beatdown can't do that.

-changed howling bull projectile trajectory so its faster
-fixed invulnerability on Gaia Press so it has the same invulnerability
-fixed tivaci beatdown bypass projectile it no longer does that

You know you can make it so it can look to see if the char has the spinning anim and use it if they have it. And if they don't have it you use a different anim. When they are in their custom state use selfanimexist to check

The error in GAIA PRESS and GAIA PRESS MAX continued on the first blow in the P2 vanish so I changed the animation from "anim 3002" to "anim 5000" in both Supers and solved the problem of vanish, but super became simpler but it works well, you test me and you answer what you think.

Now it works perfectly, I have the custom of just after downloading a char to test the char in several ways.

Yo Prime SC you probably overlooked this but when I try to super cancel level 1 GAIA PRESS (during the wall bounce phase) to level 2 TIVACI BEATDOWN in Fighter FACTORY 3 Rick suddenly falls while the attack is still going. Isn't he suppose to fall down after the attack is finished and not during it?

Oh I also forgot to mention that when you super cancel level 1 Tivaci to level 2 hellzone bull during the last hit which is a projectile seems to miss and the opponent doesn't fall but stands slightly stunned but when I do the move without super cancel it works fine unless that super is not meant for close range.

Well I tested it repeatedly in FF3 and the projectile does indeed miss when super canceled into and fails to knock down the opponent when he is really close to the flurry of punches unless you already fixed the problem in the update with my previous feedback. Haven't tried the update yet due to being at work at the moment.

Just to make sure we are on the same page you super canceled level 1 Tivaci to level 2 hellzone bull and didn't have any problems knocking down the opponent with the projectile and it didn't pass through him leaving him standing on the ground? Of course I am basing this on the old version.

The opponent was Rick himself in FF3 your opponent is always the same person when you do a test run.

Not always, you can edit the mugen exe in FF to fight any
Char in that specific build being opened on FF

Prime SC as Memo mentioned you can test run your characters in FF3 only thing you have to do is click on the tools Icon and add your Mugen.exe file to it and you should be set. Also when I get home I am going to record Mugen and show you what I am talking about so you can get a clearer picture.

wassup yall didnt wanna make a new thread since this isnt like a huge update but rick has been updated:

added a new lvl 3 super
fixed timings on some moves
added new fx for lvl 3s
added pals by sabockee
tavaci beatdown now finishes on last hit
fixed op recovering from ex shooting star
most hits connect on howling bull when op is in the air
made all step hooks just a lil faster
misc stuff

There's still a problem with the LVL 1 Gaia Press, the TargetState doesn't have facep2 unlike the LVL2 Version so he gets knocked back the wrong way if comboed from a Wall Bounce like on his EX Blazing Moonburst Fever.
Also I could provide better Super Finish Text if you want.
Lastly there is a better small port in the Ports folder that's the right size. The used one goes above the port boundaries.
There's also alot of KFM Leftovers like the Extras folder.

It's just very weird in between the ports where they take up the full 25x25 pixel space and don't push out of the border.
Its also weird that you put your super afterimages as Blue, Purple, Red when the norm is Clear, Blue, Red.

Also you should relocate Tivaci Beatdown to the 3000s (maybe the 3100 area) because 2000 is normally part of the specials, I've seen this on your Nameless aswell.
Speaking of, that super doesn't have enough hittime on the last hits so you can't MAX cancel or w/e.
Finally, why does he shoot an icicle at the end of Howling Bull? In RBFF2, there is no visible projectile. Check tora's version for example.

I think thats part of his own personal preference. Everything wont always be exactly how it was in source. Sometimes people switch it up and come up with their own unique moves or etc. Numerous creators do this kind of thing with their chars
