Dang this looks nice dude! With you coming out with yours when I finally do an update to my own I think I'm just gonna make him into Violent Yamazaki or somethin like that, hence the changes I made and other stuff.

But I definitely am looking forward to yours. Good luck dududd

This just a Yamazaki discussion thread now?
As much as I liked the FF3 OST version, I feel the XIV version closer in terms of rhythm and notes.

Sorry guys! I've been busy with life and Mortal Kombat 11. Working on Drill at the moment. How do people want the opponent to come down when doing the input? Like KoF 98-2002, or KoF XIV?

Also, working on how the inputs should work. Like, which moves to do So, I've been thinking...

-1. One of the kick move combos
-2. The stomps (replaced the Lvl. 2 Guillotine with slams on the ground similar to KoF XIV)
-3. Undecided. Was thinking the headbutt in 98 or something else.
-4. The repeated slaps (obviously)

Any thoughts?

Also, thanks for the palettes, guys! Will be sure to add them. :)

Did you manage to get the sprites for Freak-Out Fist, I think it was called? 'Cause I immediately thought of a mix between his third and fourth Drill finishers:

Once the opponent's on the ground, Yamazaki uses all three Serpent Slash variations from the bottom to middle to the top with the last one grabbing the opponent, and then after that he headbutts them a few times before hitting them with the drill.

It is a good bit less traditional than what you might be going for, but it's something that came to mind after seeing the third option was undecided on your part, and remembering the deal with Freak-Out Fist. Also, is the Drill part going to be one hit like in CvS or multi-hitting a-la XIV?

I did get the sprites for Freak-Out Fist, but they still require quite a bit of editing (mostly because of muscle detail in which CvS does not), and I'm not experienced in that at all.
And because of sprites, the Drill will be CvS styled.

Edit: If Freak-Out Fist were to be the Lvl. 3, I'd make Drill a Lvl. 1 and Lvl. 2. The sprites were from a post on... page 27, I believe if anyone wants to take a look. There's also a couple of other cool sprites for Yamazaki there as well, as previously stated before as well, but I can't fit everything all together in a neat little basket (at least, I don't think).

I've been reading about the Freak out fist move, excuse me for being ignorant but what move is that ?  I can't figure it out ?
I'm sure I know it if its in KOF 2002um but fek me I cant figure out which move it is.

It's the HSDM move where he knifes the opponent to the ground then maniacally stabs them before biting them and throwing them away.

EDIT: For the Drill moves I would consider them MAX version from RBFF2 where he throws a shit-ton of Double Return Projectile, that was probably the deadliest looking variant.
