My two cents is that it's probably best for everyone if you just don't talk about anything explicit on any part of the forum publicly. I know we have cosplay threads and artwork threads that can have some dirty things in them but I think that's pretty tame. As for NSFW mugen characters, you don't see the content unless you download it yourself, so I don't think that's an appropriate comparison either.

There's always PMs, I guess.

Here's the thing Iced: I am not disagreeing with what you're saying. No-one is. We get why you guys don't want shit like this on the forum.

However, what I have a problem with is this:

Rajaa coming out of nowhere to say some shit just to keep his staff position like he regularly does.
DuckAss dickriding the staff (parroting is one of the most obvious signs of showing respect/approval of somebody)
Niitris doing the same despite being one of the users called out. When he could've just went on with his business.
You changing what your problem with the posts was halfway through.

I'm going to get bashed for this and said I'm trying to defend my shitty post, etc. Here's the deal: doesn't bother me not to be able to make stupid posts like I did. What does bother me is being told I'm a creep when messing around with a friend for reasons that you now see are invalid.

Nor am I going to argue. I said what I wanted to get out there just now.

No need to amp it up and talk about users masterbating and whatnot. When you make it more personal and keep basically telling folks they are pieces of shit for these jokes it doesn't help stop it and it doesn't help change their minds. It'll just irritate and make them angry.

We agree they shouldn't be making the jokes, it's off putting. But don't make a ~~DD out of a flat chest~~ mountain out of a mole hill.

2: when you make jokes like that with a friend yeah there's a pretty big chance people are going to think you're fucking weird, even taking context into account.

I've avoided this conversation because I'm pretty sure whatever I say is going to come across as hypocritical.

I'm okay with having some raunchy conversations on this forum...until I'm not? Yeah, it sounds hypocritical.

The conversation was pretty much done by the time admin action was taken. It only ended up dragging the topic for a longer time, causing the opposite effect.

Conversations are never really done, there's always someone to keep bouncing back on the last thing someone said and try to one-up it. These things go on for days.

That's not the only reason why a staff member would need to respond. There was also a need to say that no one should be carrying on extended conversations about fucking lolis; just leaving things hanging after a conversation seems to have petered out does nothing to stop bad behavior from recurring.

Dude no point was changed, you guys are acting weirdly creepy and no one other than yout wo will look at that and think "HAH look at the funny jokes". It doesnt really matter what your relationship with each other is or what he is like outside of here, if you guys start posting about how you want to fuck anime children you make everyone around look bad. Im trying to not be too harsh with everyone and not outright stop people from being "Raunchy" but there are people that always go to the extreme and it looks terrible.

Context is everything and making that kind of conversation in public like that will always lead people to be weirded and creeped out. Raj is right about that, this is not that kind of forum and that kind of conversation isnt normal.

TECHNICALLY all I did was look around and point out that what he said was literally what he meant, I didnt really continue the conversation (But i didnt stop it either because i was busy doing other stuff at the time. (So, you're right, damn you!!)
But yeah I could/shouldve stopped it the first time and didnt, Im not moderating 24/7 that would be tiring.
It doesnt change that as a whole we shouldve avoid doing those kind of explicit discussions publically.

I still think theres something fundamentaly wrong with people going into places like this to talk abotu what gets them hot and bothered

If you are moderating a place and someone starts discussing their favorite porn stars, if you ignore it all you are saying is "this was a good topic, there was no issues in sharing this unsolicited with other people"
