feature list
- Added a Level 3 Ultra Super from SF4 aha I said just look like in SF4 Super.
- Added a new back throw just looks like the one in SF4.
- Some changes for the Super Phoenix Kick them you can link a super jump with air attack just like in SF3
- Damage adjustment has made on all her moves. And I used SF3 damage table from Gamefaqs as reference.
- Damage dampener bug fix and adjustment.
- Voice bug fix
- Cooler Lv2 Super intro :D
- New palete

Special Notes for the people who need more tighter dampener
there are two ways to adjust the attack power.
1. change the attack setting in CNS file header. but it will change all moves. include single attack (and my single attack is similar to SF3 settings)
2. change the dampener by the Character author. it only affect to combos

- the dampener in this chun-li is a very sample one which created by myself. I haven't investigate the original one by pots. his should be more complex. It allow you to adjust it by change a single number.

I set 600 as the default. It means if you have a combo with infinity hits, the dampener will try to maintain the total damage around 600. but not affect to a single move.
and the new SF4 like super is not control by the dampener

how to ?
go into the states folder and look for a file called system.st
edit it by notepad or any text editor.

use search and search the key words "fvar(29)= 1-(fvar(28)/600)"
now you got it? make a change on that 600. the smaller the more tighter
restart mugen to take effect.

Actually. It's my first character   :sugoi:
an year ago, I enjoyed POTS's character and loved his style. but he didn't made any chun-li yet.
an idea came up to me. "make one by myself"....
cuz I'm not a Coder. It took me half an year to understanding the Mugen coding.
and used POTS's  akuma as reference.  (this means, she may behave like Akuma.... --; )

There are still many things need to be done for this chun-li (I've wrote a list in readme)
but the basic system already completed. U can fight her as an opponent or play by using her.

Well since I'm not a professional at giving feedback from what i saw in the video was
  - portrait too big needs to be 120x140
After playing a bit
  - after doing any of specials i got a debug thing saying

  - Two palettes only :(

Other than that good character. Good job at trying to make it P.O.T.S. Style.

BTW are the velocities and damages accurate to CvS?

I've fix the palfx bug (color mul becom negative in last second)

the velocities and damages is totally not accurate to CvS.
at the frist i'm think about to make a chun-li with cvs skin but sf33 behavior.

- Matbe you should replace sounds of her hits with better ones. The current ones are a bit... "ugly".
- Well, she can combo nearly everything, and deal a lot of damage
- Why during her 2qcf+ kick super there're guard hitsparks on the enemy?
- Her big portrait is too big
- She's pratically flying when jumping afer run  :-X


Well, nice character overall. Just need fixes. I was hopin for Chunli in this style.  ;D

Her dpm+K move is called the Tenshou-kyaku.  Senretsu-kyaku is the name of her original thousand-foot-kick super.  Also, you can link together any two Tenshou-kyakus, light, mid or hard.  I'd suggest adding some horizontal knockback to them to avoid this.

Her close standing light kick can hit enemies lying on the ground.  Not only that, it sends them back a few metres.  If it's supposed to hit prone opponents, make it not throw them back so far off the ground.

Otherwise, not bad at all for a first effort.

There is indeed a certain style PotS follows.  He tends to collect every attack a character has used... well, maybe not EVERY single attack.  For example, M. Bison (Vega) has his psycho crusher as well as his 2-hit psycho sliding piece-of-crap attack from CvS1 as well as a psycho shot/cannon-type attack.  Maybe you could give Chun Li her thrusting palm attack from Alpha 3?  Good to see her overhead super from SFIII in this character.  It'd be also nice to see a rolling dodge from CvS2 and her sliding kick super from the Alpha games, which looks like her Phoenix Kick but is actually a different move, apparently.  Are you gonna make a level 2 Kikou Sho that covers her body?

I think that's all I have.  Keep up the good work!   :2thumbsup:

I've downloaded the char, is by the moment, good, nice combo ratio and all. Of course, as you said it's still a beta.

Just one point, don't forgot to put me on the credits :P
(The Nick is FeLo_Llop...EF Hater is temporaly)
you can see the "Se'en Shu", the "Tenshô Kyaku", the "Tenshe Rekka" I made time ago(for OPENSOURCE...just credit required). Those moves didn't appear on CvS-2 :P.

I got these stuffs from mugen-china.

for the time now. a few thinks has been added.
1. bug fix for the palfx
2. standard big picture.
3. super art voice correction.
4. A SF4 like throw
5. throw termination (if self or the target be hit by something e.g. in team mode)

making
1. SF4 Like LV3 superart.

Thinking:
1. team mode intro and winpose???
2. team mode LV3 superart (like juni and juli in SFA3)??? haha

maybe she could be the best chun li out there, but... she's complete overpowered!

her dmg could really be reduced by 40 or 50% and i think there's NO WAY to make a move while she's kicking your ass. maybe slow down some moves (especially some specials, hard-punch and hard-kick) or try to reduce the AI a bit.

Well, it's the dampener which needs work, as well as reducing the power of the supers. The specials seem fine as far as I recall.
