I offer no garuntees, but try decreasing the memory usage.

Try this setup.  It's good for computers with little memory.
don't forget to shut everything else down when mugen is running... especially programs that make noise, like IM programs.

You know....  Dragon Wars... or whatever other movie you want to name, didn't have the expectations Episode One had.  They had 16 years to write a decent script... and what we got was PURE UNFILTERED SHIT.

That's why it's the worst ever.  If it wasn't STAR WARS... it would be just another bad sci-fi movie.  But it was SOOOO below everybody's expectations that it has got to be the most dissapointing film ever.  Lucas's excuse?  "It's a kids movie".  My ass.

Star Wars Episode One is the worst movie ever made.  (Take it from a guy who KNOWS bad movies.... me... Tom Servo)
No- scratch that.  It's not "One of" the worst movies ever made... it is THE SINGLE WORST movie ever made.

That's not opinion either.  It is fact.
I don't need to clarify why... there is MORE than enough of that already out there.  You know it.  I know it.

Just the other week I decided to sit through the "Ocean's" trilogy, starting with the remake, and then 12 and 13.  Personally... Ocean's 12 is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I think you don't undertand what i try to do

I don't want win money with mugen...

I just want to make a website which propose free mugen stuffs and free games for pc's.

But development of mugen stuffs, website, hosting... cost time and money, so i try to limit the cost. that's all.

And that's why u can download in one shot the screenpack at 1 meg/sec...

I don't think YOU understand.  You don't NEED money for this.  That's BULLSHIT.
You're not even making anything.  The people who actually make the stuff don't even ask for money.  The fact that you have the nerve to try to convince us that YOU need money is bullshit.

You know what?  Fuck you.  Understand that.

Technically it's not selling?  Who do you think you're fooling?!

Why do you even need money for a collection of stuff you just downloaded off the internet?  Do you intend to donate that money to the people who actually CREATED those creations?  No.

People could put that pack together on their own without your help, in a matter of 10 minutes.

You're stupid for asking money for that.  You should remove that section of your website.

All I can say is, what you're trying to do may actually not be possible without HACKING mugen.  But then again, I'm really not familiar with what you're trying to do... so I can't be much help.
Sometimes people's threads get left unanswered only because nobody has the right answers.  It's not because they don't care or can't be bothered or anything like that... alot of times the people here go way out of their way to help people out.

My suggestion, would be to contact somebody who knows alot about soft156khz.  Maybe there's a forum dedicated to this sort of thing and you can ask there.

Your website reminds me of 2001-2002 era Mugen sites.

Which is... kinda nostalgic actually.

I use EVE, but I edited alot of the graphics, ALL of the sounds (they were horrible... ) made it double res, changed the layout of the select screen, changed the portrait of every character, changed the fonts, the music, the vs screen and probably more.

I tried switching to other screenpacks, but after the heavy edits I've done to EVE I just stick with it.  Plus... you know... "Everything vs Everything" is a nice title for mugen.  I don't like screenpacks based on single games, or with themes that don't make sense.

Mugen youtube videos are an even bigger waste of time than Anime music videos.... and that's saying alot.

Who watches these things?  What is the F***ing point?!

Gouken's voice is really loud... (not to mention annoying)...

And no, unfortunately the "Volume =" doesn't work with all systmes.  (The same applies to stages.  The mp3 will be the natural volume of the mp3 regardless of what value you put in)

Fortunately though, changing the character's volume on your own is not as hard as it sounds.  You can use Fighter Factory to extract and import sounds from a .snd with EASE. (It's seriously easy, just make backups of your character's .air file, that's all I gotta say.) and use Goldwave to change the volume and make other adjustments to the .wav file.  You can even do it in batches.  (Goldwave rules dude.  All you need is the trial version.)

The mp3 included is not the one POTS used for the move... if anybody is interested in that "House of the rising sun" sounding song... it's Pedro's theme from the anime: Excel Saga...

I like this stage... the ONLY problem I have for it is... Ok, when Rare Akuma first did this to me, I LOL'd.  HARD.  If he's actually ON this stage though... the move itself loses that first time WTFness for people who have never seen it before.  SO I'm not sure if I want to assign this stage to him, only because it would ruin the surprise.

If he does that move, ON this stage... it will look like he just leaves, the player walks over, and dies for no reason.  It loses it's effect.

There's only been one minor downside to this that I've experienced.  It's because of one friend in particular.  He's a huge fan of mugen, although he's never tried to do anything with it on his own (he's a SERIOUS console gamer, and his computer sucks incredibly).  What is frustrating to me is that he critiques my setup strictly on how high each character's attack level is.  So for instance, we'll be having a good match, and things begin looking in my favor.  As he's now getting his ass handed to him, he'll suddenly say something like "Man, you have to bring down your guy's power.  He's too strong."  On occasion, I might agree with him.  But most of the time, it's simply due to him being overly-competitive and that's his sorry excuse for losing; I made HIS character too weak.  Oddly, I never hear him make these comments when he's winning. :P  So it makes it annoying to play him sometimes, as I've spent quite awhile balancing things to my liking.

Ugh, I used to get that alot too... and yeah, sometimes it was legit... othertimes it would be a piss poor excuse for losing.  (Not that mugen matches should be taken seriously anyway, but it's not ALWAYS the character, sometimes it's the player).  I used to like picking Orochi Herman's Setsuna for example... but now that I look at it, he actually is overpowered.  Id' tone him down, but alot of that would come down to flat out REMAKING the character, and I dont' really want to do that.
That story really does sound familiar though... I've gone through the same thing.  I've got this one friend who LOVES to argue... and mugen is like... something he loves to critisize and argue about.  It's not worth playing with him.  (In ANYTHING really.)
