Very good actually now with Thunder getting new changes (seriously, combo breaking with TWO Thunders?), Quick Attack leaving hitstun, Dtilt with a chance of tripping, and overall much mobile.

One of my complaints is how difficult is to kill someone so far.

Seriously, 100%+ damage and they still float back. Many of my kills are from Thunder or items. They seem to make sure that when people fly, they really fly!

This time, the game seems to emphasizes its offstage combat to finish off your enemy.
And I love it.  Nothing more satisfying than securing your KO with a meteor smash.

A good Lucario could try to get high %, stay there, and just benefit from Rage and Aura heavily.

That's just how Pikachu is.  Very quick but with little knockback power.  You're suppose to utilize its speed to get the edge.

There's this one JP vid that takes advantage of Quick Attack's hitstun to rack up percentage while getting away at the same time.

Killing in general is hard. You really do need to go offstage and
A) Meteor
B) Gimp until they can't up+B to the ledge

IMO, my perspective on Villager has changed. His recovery is great, but as Mario, my goal is to push him as far offstage as possible so he HAS to Up+B, and then I can Forward Air him.

I still look forward to Doc a lot more.

But are there truly grown men in this world?!

So I was looking through some videos and I noticed something that caught my attention:



It looks like sometimes Mii Fighters appear on the select screen and other times they don't.  Do we know exactly what causes this?  Near as I can tell, it looks like they only show up there in multiplayer modes.  It's weird they would split it up like that.

Mii Fighter won't appear on the select screen until you create one.

Also I thought Mii Fighter was banned from online?

Mii fighters are only playable online if you play with friends.
Fighting with anyone will disable miis.

Blast Zones have been increased.
You need to actively Meteor or Gimp your opponents to secure your KO.

It only seems to meteor when Thunder reaches Pikachu, otherwise they just fly to the side.

I might be doing it wrong though.
